Bahaha! Love it.

My biggest issue with both Indian and Chinese food is the extremely high sodium content. Sorry, I won't be much help to you as I don't really have an answer for you. I just recently began experimenting with eating Indian foods.

Oh cool! Very interesting.

What is "The Mother" ?

LOL I'm sorry but this makes you sound really arrogant. I guess I just have "beer taste" as you put it.

I have a friend that swears by cabbage soup. The soups themselves look pretty healthy/nutritious. But they seem like much too much effort to prepare. lol

I used to reach for the "snack drawer" at work but I have resisted temptation by bringing lots of fruits and vegetables to snack on. I basically have to snack on these items all day because I'm chronically bored.

Can someone be a bit specific on quinoa's texture? I have "issues" with textures. If it has a good flavor but the texture is "off" (i.e. pears) then I won't eat it. I'm weird, don't judge me. lol

Calorie-free pasta?! That sounds like heaven. haha

Actually I don't eat steak very often and I have never eaten raw salmon. Are you getting defensive about me not enjoying the taste of sea food? It has nothing to do with the mercury if that's what you're thinking lol
-
Same here! I hate the taste and texture of all aquatic meat.

Amazing job!

This is a great idea. I think I'm going to start doing this.

I've decided that I'm going to eat mainly raw foods from here on out. I've been eating too much junk food and I need to decrease the amount of processed foods that I eat. Additionally, I'm making it a goal to exercise at the gym at least 4 times per week and continue on with the 30DS dvd.

I love, love, love cheese. I love melted nacho cheese... and love dipping everything in it. *drool* I also really like American cheese and Parmesan cheese. Actually, I like all cheeses that are common in Italian foods.

Lucky Charms and Reese's Puff cereal are my absolute favorite sugary cereal. My favorite "healthy" cereal is Banana Nut Crunch.... it's the bomb!

I'm still in the process of an official diagnosis, andI also have two close family members with RA and a sister with OA so I can really relate to this. I am working out at the gym. My knees really bother me sometimes but lately it's been my elbows. In fact, last night I could barely sleep because my left elbow was really…

If my significant other gave me this option, I would choose an elliptical. ;)

I completely agree. It's much better to be empathetic than judgmental. People need support and encouragement to implement healthier food choses, not harsh criticism.

It depends, if someone was struggling with binge-eating or compulsive overeating disorder (COE), and they've gone from eating fast food every day, multiple times per day to three times per week down, or down to once per week, or once per month, etc. that is amazing progress! Some of us came from families where love was…

GREAT JOB! btw, my right calf is better than my left. So ... you're normal! ;)

I sweat tons myself. I cannot wear white or light grey shirts because you can see within 20 minutes that I've sweat right through them. It's embarrassing. I've always sweat though. Bummer.

I notice I seem to maintain or gain weight after going to the gym. I think the body just holds on to more water after a workout. I'm not physician though, so I'm just making a guesstimation :)
-
Yeah, I doubt it matters too much - as long as it's picking up your HR. Once you start sweating, it will get plenty wet anyway!

I end up cheating and completely falling off the wagon, so to speak. I can't cheat because I can't stop, but then again, I seem to only be able to sustain super healthy eating for two weeks until I get burnt out and want something chocolatey or salty. :(

Agree with dittiepe - maybe you should take a look at your caffeine intake. If you're not drinking any caffeine, maybe try increasing your water intake. How many calories are you eating per day? Perhaps you're not eating quite enough food and your blood sugar is low? Your safest bet would be to talk to your doctor about…

I envy people who are outside running (and especially envious of those walking/running with their dogs) because I have let my self-consciousness prevent me from reaching my full fitness potential. If my apartment allowed dogs, I would be outside just like the rest of you! Then I know people driving or walking past me will…

I bought a Polar FT4 because it was the best quality yet less expensive of several other options I saw in the store. It was $79.99. Fairly easy to navigate and it makes a cute little chirp when you're out of your target heart zone. =) I like it a lot. The chest strap is awkward sometimes but not enough to really get on my…

I'm 5'4" and 127 lb so I can really empathize with you. I'd like to see a change in my stomach and thighs as soon as possible. But it's really difficult!
