there's nothing terribly wrong with snacking as long as you've got low calorie healthy things to snack on. like if you were constantly snacking all day, but it was on slices of cucumber and carrots and stuff like that, then there's nothing to worry about! so just keep foods like that handy.

My best advice to would be to not keep any soda in the house, and if you ever find yourself out somewhere and craving a little, have at it! A tiny bit won't kill you, as long as overall you stick to healthier drinks.
