Wahhoooo! Congrats.

Back in August, while in the UK at a fave store, I bought a pair of tights that were cutting off my circulation - they've been in the 'one day' pile. Today is that day! B)

[Edit due to being shamed by strong_curves' post above - you are so right. We are often fatigued by these 'I just can't do it' posts. We have all been there!] Jennifer, hello. Nice to meet you. I'm sorry people are being rough on you. Losing weight is difficult. If it was easy to look like Gigi Hadid or Rhonda Rousey,…

Oh thank you, but it's just a minor one. Hopefully only out of action for a few more days.

I love this, and yes you can!

Oh gosh, I hope this is me next summer. Those shorts of mine have been in the 'one day soon' box for two summers now!

I have a sprained ankle and still went to the gym to do upper body exercises and leg stuff from knees. I even managed to do a bit of cardio on the hand-pedal-bike thing. I'm going again tonight!

I love this answer, and you seem to be striking a great balance! :)

I don't eat meat anymore. I just got to a stage where I could no longer separate what I was eating, however delicious, with what it took to get that meat. I'm not willing to be a part of that any longer, but I don't judge others who are able to separate their food with the source - I did it for most of my life. Anything…

The dreaded injury Last Friday, I sprained my ankle towards the end of a weekly class I attend called 'Power Hour'. We had been going hard, bootcamp style, for about 45 minutes when I came down wrong off a box step. BOOM. CANKLE! Instantly I had this thought: "Oh no, I won't be able to eat anything for days!!!!!!!!" Not…

I went to the gym before sunrise. I'm a night owl so this was a real challenge. I needed to get a work out in though, so I did it! Oh and a gym instructor I hadn't seen for a while said I was looking good! :) Well done everyone else, great NSVs!!!

I found this really useful: https://www.ted.com/talks/judson_brewer_a_simple_way_to_break_a_bad_habit?language=en Also, just don't keep food for bingeing in your mini fridge or room. Eat highly filling, low cal snacks like cucumber slices. Good luck!

My NSV is saving calories for dinner. The struggle is real! I'm also planning on trying a 6.15am class this Thursday. IF I don't post here again, you know I didn't make it. Carry on in my honour! B)

I like your NSV AND your profile pic.

This is so good! Well done!

Ok, catching up on all your posts. Great journey you are on! And with your partner having to eat less soon, it will hopefully help you out at home. The less you keep at home, the less you can be tempted! I see what you mean about the body comp test now. I had one when I first joined my gym but an update would probably be…

, Thank you both! I will check out your blog khatmott!

This is an incredible achievement! Well done and best of luck for the journey. Here's to a lifetime of healthy eating and enjoying fitness! :)

Thank you! How did you go with this? The scale does estimate my body fat, which is helping. I will investigate the body composition measurement! I look forward to updates on how your body fat is doing, and I will share mine! Feel free to add me if you like. 46kg is not an easy task, but you also sound determined and on the…

Happy birthday! Mine is Sunday!

Pics taken on the weekend with my tiny niece didn't make me want to hide in a dark room forever. I actually look ok! I also bought a bathroom scale because the one at the gym is rubbish - weigh less than I thought! Huzzah!
-
I'm vegetarian leaning vegan if you want to add me.

The scale knows What a difference a scale makes! This weekend, I purchased a digital, programmable bathroom scale. It measures things like body fat percentage and BMI as well as goals for weight loss. It seems that the analog gym scale just wasn't telling me the truth. I'm lighter than I thought! However, my body fat is at…

All anyone can ever tell me is 'squats, lunges, squats, lunges' with heavy lifting. It works to tighten things, but doesn't seem to be reducing the size! lol Let me know if you come up with a solution.

You look awesome and I love your hair. Well done!

Having a tough week but getting over it and remembering the end game. Well done everyone!

Beware the sedentary job. That's how I got into this mess I'm in. haha But seriously, move as much as you can and just stop and think about every meal. Try not to keep bad food around. Good luck! (Age 36)
