All the hard work was totally worth it, wow! Hot mama! :D You've definitely inspired me, thanks for sharing!

You look really good, well done! I bet that feels amazing. :)

You are a legend! I absolutely love what you said. Everyone has loose, sagging skin at some point. But not many people go through a war with themselves and come out the other side successful. YOU are the reason I come here! Thank you for sharing!!!

Can you work out later in the day? I'm in AU.
-
Yes, this! It's taken me soooo long to get where I want to be, but I keep fighting. You can do it!

What I told myself: either accept yourself as you are, or change. What you are dealing with is really difficult, I don't envy you. But you will find tons of support on MFP. Here are my tips: 1. Find a counsellor. Plenty of free options out there. Ask for a mental health plan. 2. Clean out your fridge and cupboards. Throw…

I went to edit my profile and realised I'd easily reached my April goal. Well, how about that. Feeling good!
-
That's funny, because I grew up in Texas which is basically hotter than hell itself. haha But I love the heat so much! Hope things cool down for you soon!
-
I think heat seems less awful when you get weight off. I hope you find this! I'm glad you are getting back into it. We got this!

I love seeing how the different hemispheres have seasons of fitness too. :)

I'm just catching up but all of this is amazing. That comp at work must be really pushing you forward! I wish we could do that here but everyone at my work is super slim. They're all fitness freaks for the most part, which was one of the reasons why I wanted to get in shape. Never in my life was I the fattest person in the…

Goodness! How is your calf now? My ankle is still a bit munted but totally functional. Just looks weird and is a bit sore inside. I'm very grateful I can still work out!

Fighting fit Things are progressing well though not much in the middle of my body. I've been doing strength training twice per week and am starting to see real definition in my upper back and arms, and the top of my stomach. I have one set of abs you can almost see! haha My main struggle, as always, is food. For a while I…

I never thought back muscles would be a thing I'd want to strive for. Now that they are popping out from twice weekly strength training, I'm super excited! B) Reminds me of that scene in Twins. "Were you stung by bees???"

Cayenne pepper on all the things!
-
You are KILLING IT! Nice!
-
Upper abs have begun to pop out! I can even flex. What is happening? haha
-
Meal prep at midnight. I could have gotten home and just crashed but I made that salad!
-
Oh and measure yourself once per week on the same day. Sometimes your weight doesn't tell the whole story. ;)
-
This! I lost 10kg then stopped losing and someone told me this. I adjusted my daily total and began losing again instantly! Also, don't eat back more than half of your exercise cals and eat more protein. Good luck!

There is no easy answer. It has taken me years to realise that eating grotesque amounts of food makes me feel disgusting, guilty, uncomfortable and sick. Remember, our stomachs are only meant to hold about a fist-sized amount of food. Anything more is damaging to you. Follow the advice above, make small changes at first,…

You look great! Glad recovery is going well and I love your sense of style!!!!!!

May I suggest a water bottle with infuser? You can add yummy tea or even fresh berries, which make that daily chug more pleasing. :D
-
I love this and I can emphatically say, me too! It would have been way easier to give up without the support of my MFP pals.
-
Just keep going, one day at a time. I'm your height, and I struggle constantly but I'm doing it! Over half-way there. Some people on here have lost so much more than you, so it is possible. It's a whole life commitment to change, all eating habits and exercise. More specific tips are to only eat back about 25% of your…

Put most of it into a nice basket, wrap with cellophane and give to your local old folks home? Or the local VA?
-
Haven't been super strict with logging or exercise because of my second job ramping up deadlines, but I haven't gained anything! Maintaining like a pro, not overeating, no big extras. Feeling good!
-
I hope more people read this. It's fantastic! For me, lots of mini changes over time as well. I feel like I'm learning something new about food or weight management all the time. MFP is a blessing!

Great work!

What's worked for me is really thinking about myself after overeating. Really focus on how you feel both physically and mentally. I'm willing to bet you don't feel like congratulating yourself. I feel uncomfortable and guilty, I feel like I've erased hard work done in the gym. There is almost no good feeling associated…
