this. ^^ I walk about 4 miles a day just by being on campus, but I don't log that because I'm not walking just to do it, I'm walking cuz I have no other way to get to class. But if I run 5 miles on a treadmill, with the intention of working out, that's what I'll log. That's just my preference though.

Definitely look at the net calories the most. I also like to look at the whole week's worth of calories as a whole (it shows you the average you've been eating. It shows a bigger picture in my opinion because some days you eat more some days you eat less. The weekly summary will show you if you are generally eating too…

I wasn't really insinuating that I wanted to log reading. I was just wondering if there was any particular scientific reason that reading would burn more calories than watching tv. Just as random knowledge to know.

EXACTLY! When I see that it is so obvious that people are sabotaging all their hard work. You can tell they are in some type of denial when they log such things.

I just made my own entry under the recipe tab. I used Ray's BBQ which was a little bit higher in calories than a low calorie bbq.

What I started doing was weighing myself in a different unit. (ex. I know pounds, not kg.) So I started tracking myself with kg. When I see 100 kg on the scale I don't think "OMG! This is too much." Because I honestly have no idea what 100 kg is in pounds. But when I step on the scale next and it says 99.7 kg I'm estatic…

For sure. I just feel like if I don't do it ENOUGH it won't work. I'm just kinda too the point where I'm getting impatient and I need to see results quick so I don't think I'm wasting my time.

I'll be your friend (: I'm also 19 and have pretty much the same goals as you do. Although, I"m not sure about the whole 7 day water fasting. I'd just start off eating healthy. No need to starve yourself.
