I think I drastically overestimated the difficulty of the situation. :embarassed: I can certainly say hi, listen and nod. As for bad fun and low cut shirts...well let's just say maybe and a skirt is better suited to my body type. :laugh: Thanks! I will keep these in mind!

@slugsasarus Yay weights!

Not always...sometimes it's just wrong enough to say a person's underweight. It doesn't work on either end of the spectrum. :grumble:

I don't know where you're located, but Hormel offers a nitrate/preservative free option which tastes waaaaaaay better than the standard stuff.

That calculation seems very flawed in application... When I netted 1500 calories a day, I lost weight I wanted to keep. If multiplying your goal weight by ten was an accurate calculation, I'd be on my way to gaining weight up to 150 pounds - which I'm not. That said, I'm not sure how accurate MFP's calculations are,…

Kabobs, Salad (Arugula or Spinach), Steak-Provolone Sandwhich, Stew, Pot Pie, Stir Fry (Noodle or Rice)...there's a lot of possibilities. You might consider visiting allrecipes.com, foodnetwork.com or food.com for more ideas.

Thanks, I guess I just needed some validation about my decision to not drown myself in ice cream and booze. The answer is not in the freezer or cupboard. Definitely not. I gotta admit that's a really strange feeling... Sure, I've wanted a cookie or chocolate when I was really upset before, but it was just one cookie I…

Thanks! That's helpful. And yes, 50 calories adds up after 5. I still don't feel bad though. They were amazing!

I thought it seemed high too, but I don't know how to verify any of it. Although, I will not learn how to make them. I doubt I could do it as well and if I did succeed, then I would have a problem. :) Edit: maybe that nutrition fact is referring to a larger macaroon? After looking around at the common sizes elsewhere, the…

You could consider a 360 with kinect. I can't personally vouch for it, as I only hear the happy stories from my friend, but the nice thing about that is you don't have to stay on a board. But to think outside the box, maybe you could take dance or martial arts. That would offer exercise, help you connect with new people,…

If you've got multiple systems hooked into your TV, your TV may be on the wrong source (e.g. AV1 vs COMP1).

The BMR tool said I need roughly 1200 calories to stay alive if lied in bed all day. My current goal settings are at 1500...if I've lost weight on these settings then does that mean I'm burning at least 300 calories doing whatever it is I'm doing that day (not counting the exercise I do log)? Soooo...maybe I'll add 100…

I'd like to know the answer to this too! I'm in maintenance mode too but my current setup on MFP is NOT resulting in maintenance...

Snowflake (hot): "a blend of almonds, cinnamon, coconut flakes, and black teas from Ceylon, south india and china."

Dried fruit, nuts, apples, bananas and the little cans of V8 might be good. Certain cherry tomatoes aren't supposed to be refridgerated (it'll say on the packaging), so that may work.

Balsamic vinegar sounds great! I'm going to try that too. :D I'll try the avocado too, if I'm eating it right away. Avocado would not be happy in my lunch box.

It came out to about 160 calories. I think it depends on the feta you purchase. If you want to cut out a lot of calories while maintaining the most flavor, you could drop the olive oil. Personally, I think it's worth the extra calories, but that's just me. :)

Wow! I wasn't expecting an enthusiastic response. Maybe I'll share more in the future... :D

Considering lunch for me is small things to eat from 9:30 to 4:30, take this with a grain of salt. ;) 4 - 6 oz Yogurt with 1/4 cup Granola (Organic Cherry Vanilla Granola from Back to Nature is my favorite 'cause it's crunchy) 1/2 Cup of a Vegetable or spicy 4 oz V8 (cherry tomatoes or carrots slices mostly) Portable Fruit…
