I have a question re syncing, do you have to leave the Bluetooth switched on on your phone permanently of you want it to sync. I usually have it turned off to save battery power.

I haven't got mine yet, should have it next week. I would say that I would need to set mine to zero activity as I am a couch potato. Would that be the correct setting for someone like me, I don't want it to give me more calories than I should have or show me burning more than I have. I am 5'8" and weigh approx 204lbs and…

I could have sworn I read iPhone 4, no matter for me as I have the iPhone 5, and please less of the and up ???? Apple totally hacked me off when they brought out the new iPad so soon after the March release which is when I got mine.

Have just ordered mine and the timing is such that I should receive it just as my husband leaves for six weeks, how much weight can I lose I wonder. I was doing really well back in the summer with MFP and recording religiously but had an emotional setback in September and have just not got back on the wagon. Going to do my…

Pretty certain it won't sync with your phone as its android. Think it syncs with iPhone 4 and up and the iPad 3 and up.
-
Hope that is not the case, just ordered the 'one' and my understanding is that it should sync with MFP. Hope someone else has the answer.

I have a walking app on my phone, similarly a cycling one, I have to enter my weight and then the gps tracks the walk or ride and it calculates how many calories I have burned.

I am not a big fruit eater I admit, today though I did have a banana. I do eat a lot of pasta and rice and I have to have a desert (it has replaced cigarettes). I do drink water just don't always make a note although I don't drink loads as in 8 glasses per day. I do drink 3 or 4 cups of tea over the day as a way to stave…

-
I agree I don't thnk you are eating enough.
-
Thanks for your replies. I have changed my profile to diary available to friends but do you most of you have your diaries public. Not that I am too worried who sees it.

I love swede, i particularly love creamed swede, not that I am eating that at the moment but I did make some shepherds pies and topped them with mashed swede.

I am 5'8" age, 49 and weigh 205.5, when I met my husband at the age of 27 I weighed 136 and had a stunning figure (although I say it myself). I started properly last Sunday and have lost 3.5lb this week I think. I think at my age if I went down to that weight I would be so much more wrinkled and gaunt looking ( I am…

You look fabulous, and I love the Peach top, no point asking where you got it as I am assuming you are in the states. Congratulations

I am not complaining, I just found it a little strange. However, now after some of the previous comments I am feeling a little guilty for not adding them.

I can't tell you much about it except that my friend paid about £400 for this, she only managed to follow it for a short time before giving up. I will ask her more about it, I think she did lose some weight but like every diet the motivation has to be there to keep on track.

Thank you all for your replies. I am not a novice to dieting, in fact I am an old hand at just not sticking to it although this is the first time I have actually tried to count calories, I have usually followed a diet like Slimming World or Weightwatchers. I just love the app it is so easy to use.
