Hi, I've just started again after a couple of months off. I had got as far as completing week 6 day 1 before stopping due to illness then bad weather etc. I debated for ages where to start again but decided last night to do week 1 day 1 to see how I got on. I'm glad I started at the beginning again as I found it a bit hard…

Hi, yes short and round that's me! I currently weigh 199lbs down from 249lbs when I started. I'll be 46 this year in August although I like to forget about that as much as possible.Oh and I'm 5ft1. Feel free to add me as a friend, Nicki

I'm going to third the slowing down a bit. Take your time and relax it's more important to finish the runs than the speed you do them. That can be worked on later. Even my brisk walking probably wasn't as brisk as others...
-
Congratulations everyone! I just completed this tonight woohoo!! I'm so proud of myself :) Slowest speed ever but I wanted to make sure I got to the end. Never thought I'd ever be able to do it!

I'll be doing week 5 day 2 tomorrow on Wed evening. I've managed each day fine so far even when I think I'm not going to do it. I tend to end up running along speaking to myself when it gets a bit hard. I say things like "slow down a bit" ,'what's the rush","distance doesn't matter lets just finish this run", "chill out".…

Hi, I'm doing week 3 day 2 tonight. I'm running outside despite the freezing cold. I found the second three minute run on day 1 a bit hard going especially as it coincided with an uphill bit on my route. Still I made it through. May change route tonight ;)

This was me! My clothes were becoming really tight and uncomfortable on me but I refused to buy more. 21lbs down and they're fitting much better (in fact my jeans keep slipping down) but I'm not quite comfortably into the next size down. I'm hoping they'll fit in another 7lbs.....
-
Wow, you are amazing! What an achievement :-)
-
Congratulations! I can't wait to get there too!

Hi everyone, I'm Nicki :-) a 44 year old mum of 4 children aged 13, 9, 5 and 1. I joined MFP in July 2011 then 'forgot' all about it until January 2012 when I decided it was to time to finally tackle my weight. I want to lose at least 117lbs in total which will take me to the top healthy BMI for my height. When I get there…
-
My first main goal is to reach 199. I've lost 16lbs so far....34 to go to get there. Once I'm there I'm never going back up again!!

Homemade chilli to warm me up!

The day hasn't started for me until I've had 2 mugs of proper filter coffee ;-)
