Granny smith apples and carrots make a delish one! Try going to the manufacturer's website to see if there are any on there. Also google juice recipes or try one of the recipe sites, such as allrecipes.com.

Since you have a toaster oven you could do tortilla pizzas. I use whole wheat tortillas, 1 tbsp of pizza sauce, veggies and turkey pepperoni with a pinch of low fat mozzarella. My whole family loves them. Add a side salad and you have a well rounded meal. :)

Veggie sandwiches are quick if you have your veggies sliced in advance. I sometimes add half a can of tuna for a good protein source. I alternate between Healthy Life bread (35 cals/slice), whole wheat tortillas, multi grain sandwich thins (100 cals/bun) and lavash bread (50 cals/serving). You can use lite mayo or salad…

Healthy Life bread is 35 cals/slice and they have white, whole grain and wheat. I also like to use lavash bread to make sandwich rolls (50 cals/serving) for lunches with lots of veggies and laughing cow light cheese wedge in the flavor of your choice.

I do the chicken breast and salsa in crock pot too, but I add a bag of frozen corn and a can of black beans (rinsed and drained). Cook on low 4-6 hrs. I usually throw my chicken in frozen. Shred chicken and it's good alone, over rice or as tacos. Would probably be good on a salad too.

I do 1/4 c oatmeal with 1 tbsp raisins, 1 tbsp sugar free french vanilla powdered creamer, a sprinkle of cinnamon and one pkt of equal. Microwave and you have a filling breakfast in about 90 seconds. I also use the 100% fruit spreads (like Smuckers) as a change of flavor sometimes. Whole wheat tortilla, one egg beater (or…

I read in a medical journal that simply draining and rinsing canned beans - I was looking up cannelini beans that I needed for a recipe- can reduce the sodium by 35-42%. That's pretty significant! Fresh or frozen vegs help you watch your sodium intake and I try to stay away from canned tomato products unless it is low…

Cucumber and onion salad is cool and refreshing. I do cucumbers, onions, some roma tomatoes, white vinegar, water, celery seed and equl in place of the sugar.

Haha! I always do the same thing. You just have to look around and acknowledge that there are people there bigger than you and smaller than you. Being in a bathing suit makes most women self conscious, but in reality people probably aren't looking at you as much as you think. Good luck - you can do it!

What about a cucumber salad? The one my mom always made (and I do also) had sliced cucumbers, onion, vinegar, sugar (I use Equal), water and celery seed. Very low in calories and it's a nice change of pace from a regular salad with a meal. This one is almost exactly what I make:…

One packet Hidden Valley ranch dressing mix, 6 oz. plain greek yogurt, 1/2 1% milk. Numbers depend on which brands you use, and how much you use per serving. It's super delish and whole recipe is under 200 calories. I keep it in the fridge to dip veggies in, add to sandwiches instead of mayo and, of course, salads.

For example, I just searched meatloaf in the database and lots of options came up. But I can't see the ingredients so I don't know which is comparable to mine.....help!

Exercise with the kids. It's good for both of you and they are getting your still attention. You can go for walks, play at the park, etc. My 3 year old likes to try and exercise with me if I have a DVD in too. They will have fun with just about anything and you are teaching them good lifestyle habits too. Good luck!

On top of baked potato in place of sour cream In scrambled eggs to make them extra fluffy In lasagna instead of ricotta cheese

My son has had some constipation problems (he's in grade school). Our family doctor had me take him off apple juice completely and give him white grape or pear juice instead, limit his milk/dairy intake and give him MiraLax -stool softener- as needed to keep him regular. Her explanation was that when you get constipated…

The key for me with breakfast is to have some protein and fiber. Otherwise, it doesnt matter what I eat - I will be hungry before lunch.
-
Mmmm, oatmeal looks delish! Do you have a recipe for that?
-
I eat when my kids do - so I have dinner b/n 5:30-6 and then have a snack when they do before bed (7:45-8). This helps to keep me from eating after they are in bed.

Toss 2-4 chicken breasts in crock pot. Add 2 c salsa of your choice, 1 can black beans (drained) and frozen corn (anywhere from half to whole bag). Cook on low 6-8 hrs. Serve over brown rice. I take the chicken out at the end and shred. I have also added green chiles and a little shredded cheese when you plate it up. Yummy…
