I weigh every day, sometimes several times a day, but I am trying to train myself not to as I DO get disheartened if I don't see what I want to see and as an emotional eater this can be dangerous. So, i'd say ideally once a week - but it's a work in progress for me!

Approx 4000 calories of mostly rubbish yesterday; chips, peanuts, chocolate, biscuits... YUK. Was having a bad day. Feeling rubbish today though. The moral of this story - eat rubbish, feel rubbish. When will I ever learn??
