I make sure it sticks for a few days. I know that weight fluctuates and I want to make sure it's a real change, not just me being dehydrated. It really sucks on days like today when the scale said 189. That would be 2 lbs in 2 days. While that would be nice, I'm gonna go ahead and be skeptical on that one.

Both, definitely. Cardio is obviously a burn, but weight lifting increases lean muscle mass, which increases metabolism. Both help you burn in the end. I usually do both everyday. about 30-45 min. of cardio and at lease 30 min of lifting. I read somewhere that if you do cardio and then lift it wil make you leaner, vs. lift…

You just have to keep at it. When I took my first PT test at basic I had never run more than a mile. I did 2 miles in about 21 minutes. 3 months later I did the same 2 miles in 14:45. Now, I was forced to work at it, but I've found that keeping it up and not allowing my excuses (and I have some good ones) to fly has…

I'm doing the Warrior Dash here in VA in October. I'm excited about it. I haven't run an obstacle course since Basic. And it's a bonus that I get a Warrior Hat and a Beer Mug

I'm the same way. I've been pushing even harder lately because I'm starting to see the results. It feels good to know that you can do this without feeling like you got hit by a truck the next day. Congrats on the progress!
