As others have said, cardio will help burn the fat. Planks and crunches will help build the core muscles. ............ And patience, lots and lots of patience. :smile:

As long as you feel full and are not depriving yourself, I think its OK to be a little under target.

Welcome! You mentioned eating out of boredom. I tend to do that on the weekends. Try filling yourself up on water when you know you should not be hungry and try to find things to keep you busy.

You did better than me! I had a hard time getting through 15 minutes on each. Now I do an hour of cardio, two 30 minute stints on either elliptical and bike or bike and treadmill. I'd do more but I only have about an hour before work in the morning.

I eat it on crackers, spread it on toast, eat it with veggies or apple wedges, use is as a substitute for mayo. There are lots of things you can do with it!

Welcome! I like to go to the grocery store and check out the produce section for things I've never had before. Its a great way to broaden your culinary borders. So far I've tried golden beets, jicama, yuca, and chayote.

I usually measure once a month. But I think 2 weeks is a good time-frame too.

When I started out almost a year ago: My starting size was 12 My Goal size was 6 My Fantasy size was 2 But here's the kicker: I actually am on the verge of a size 2!!! I never would have thought that was possible a year ago!

I try to get in at least 3 liters a day. It helps to flush some of the extra sodium from your body, and believe it or not, too little water will actually make you retain fluids. I thinks its part of that whole starvation mode thing. :wink:

I divide things into 3 categories - Everyday - 1-2 times a week - 1-2 times a month. Cookies and cake falls into the 1-2 times a week category, but only if I can fit them into my daily calorie target. Stuff like pizza, fast food and alcohol fall into the 1-2 times a month category. Although those are often even less…
