Just sounds like you pushed yourself too hard. You are supposed to increase activity gradually to avoid injury. I don't know if you injured anything, but it is understandable that your body would be very sore after that.

It is completely unnecessary to reduce fats as long as you consume healthy fats. Fats are good for your body.

Just adding my 2 cents. I have a fitbit zip and I'm happy with it. Don't have to worry about charging it since it runs on a watch battery. I've gotten about 4 months on the battery. It showed the battery low icon for around a month before the battery actually died. I read that the bracelets pick up other movements too and…

Too much to read to be sure it wasn't mentioned, but just in case. Taking magnesium can help soften your bowel movements. I don't know about fissures, looks like the others got you covered there. I take at least 500mg of magnesium a day or I end up constipated even when I'm eating better. Probably lack of magnesium in my…

I was in 11th and 12th grade Music class, 2nd period. Then we watched the TV to see what was happening pretty much all that day at school.

There's a lot of info out there. Cutting back on carbs and sugar is good. Avoid adding it to things. Your smoothie sounded great. I'm attempting to do the part-time low carb thing. But, I am happy if I keep it to 75-100 grams or less 2-3 days a week. I find it difficult to go down to 50. I also am aiming for 150 grams or…

I didn't read all the replies, but I think you should wear what looks good on you and worry less about what's in style. Sometimes what's in style sucks. I like flare/bell bottoms/boot cut and will always like them whether or not they are in fashion because they make most people look better. I wouldn't try on skinny jean in…

I like to use full fat dairy. I am a whole foods type eater. Not completely unprocessed, but minimally messed with. I have lost quite a bit of weight eating that way in the past. I'm back to losing again because I had another baby after my last loss. :) I also like almond milk in things, but not by itself. And there was a…

Yeah, I think the dietitian could be wrong here too. I think you should definitely eat back your exercise calories as long as you calculated your calorie burn correctly. I don't believe your dietitian sounds familiar with MFP. I saw someone talking about feeling weak and shakey. I agree, if you feel weak and shakey, up…

I'm doing fine at 1200 calories net a day. I eat back my exercise calories and wear a fitbit and eat a good portion of my fitbit adjustments (fitbit adds exercise calories for my steps throughout the day.) I am 33 lbs above my goal weight. Saw the OP is my height and only 130. My goal is 145. I wasn't losing much eating…

I started on MFP when I was pregnant with my fourth. It did help me gain less than I had with previous pregnancies and to make sure I got a good amount of protein. And by staying active and eating well I was able to keep my blood pressure at a very healthy level. With my first 3 kids my blood pressure went into slightly…

Thanks for that info scrapjen. I was trying to figure out how many calories to eat back and thought around half the exercise calories seemed good too. I'll have to play around and see what happens. I took a look at your blog. I like what you had to say about the fitbit and you are doing great with your weight loss and…

Just do it. :) I did the same thing for months and just finally jumped back in. The first few days - a week take a lot of will power, but after that it gets easier. I did the manual goal settings and set up what would be a 250-300 calorie below maintenance first, then after a week of that I went to the setting for one lb a…
