I hope so, because it's not projecting our goals accurately. Best, Robin

It's not working. Known issue, apparently. So, I switched to Misfit because I have a Pebble Time, and it's not syncing to my fitness Pal, either, but their site has been down sporadically and I think they are working on it right now. There must have been some coding change to which other apps are trying to adapt. I don't…

I am not getting steps from Misfit's app either. This could be a MFP issue, maybe? Thanks, Robin

They say it's a Jawbone issue that's not yet resolved. I am really disappointed because I have a new Pebble Time and intend to install the UP watchface. (It handles everything but sleep and the watch can use the Sleep As Android app, which is possibly the most accurate sleep app for Android. Then you manually enter to UP.)…

Yesterday, December 1, I got a huge calorie adjustment. Today, I got almost nothing so far. Is this *still* an issue? I can understand a few days, but since Christmas and no progress? I am using the "Purple App" with my phone and I have a new Pebble Time and want to install the UP watchface. But if it's not synching, I…

If you are wearing a band or watch, it should not pick someone else's movement. Jawbone actually gives you much MORE "sound" sleep than dedicated sleep apps. (Only Jawbone calls it "sound" sleep. It's usually called deep sleep where you're not moving. In REM sleep, you're paralyzed by sleep. That happens only a few times a…

If you can find me on the Network, I only have two friends. Wouldn't mind more! I use the Purple app. (Will soon have Jawbone watchface for Pebble. Getting a Pebble Time.) Robin Markowitz

There is nothing wrong with your hardware. It's the apps. It's a server issue. Big issue! It should be fixed soon, I hope. Robin
-
They fixed it to an extent but the sync with MFP is all messed up! Try Jawbone support on Twitter. Best, Robin
-
The server for their mobile apps went down today. MAJOR, major issue just today. Since they fixed it, the only calorie adjustment I got was negative and 0. It's still zero, and finally recorded over 1000 steps by the phone app (Purple App, which would normally show lots more steps by now). For a long while it was negative…

The best sleep tracker apps are not fitness bands. For iPhone, the best is Sleep Cycle, for Android (and Pebble/Pebble Time w/Android phone), Sleep As Android, and the best "band" for sleep is the Basis Peak watch. Basis has performed best overall in studies. They all perform better than fitness bands, but are no…

Friend request sent. Don't know how through the UP app. I use the Purple phone app. I am getting a Pebble Time with the UP watchface soon. All the best, Robin

Thank you very much! Wasn't just me! Despite that, I absolutely love Jawbone UP. I just bought a Pebble Time because it has their watchface (and other key fitness apps). I will open it on my birthday; the "watch" will be my "bracelet." (It's a very soft, stretchy and light band. Much more a fitness band than a "watch,"…

Web cam . . . reflected light from television.

Congratulations! As for me doing the same with photos, it just doesn't work the same way because my doctor explained that I have mostly visceral fat that doesn't really "show" (or as he put it: "it's on the INSIDE: around your heart, your liver, your pancreas . . ."), so the photos don't necessarily show any major…

I am 101.
-
Yes.
-
Are you 100?
-
I use the Purple App on my phone, and it certainly does update the weight, but will hide from all others if you choose. I think that's the default setting. I really like it! I am soon getting a Pebble Time with Jawbone watchface installed on it, so it will be nice to make other Jawbone/MFP people.

Sure!

Now, I really understand: it's the "activity level" selected. Thank you! I am more in the "moderate" range now, so I need to change that. Thank you so much! The applications are very smart about this. (Well, the designers are.) :) All the best! rjm

I think by activity level, you mean in logged or imported exercise? I should post a screen shot if that's possible. Oh, my diary is open so you can see it. I walked a lot today and I think it got it fairly. But it was still large. I have a feeling it is getting a feel for how I step and will normalize after a bit. Today…
-
I will. I just don't completely understand the "negative calorie adjustments." But I'll go ahead and enable it. I can always change it back. But it's showing an enormous burn just from modest walking. It IS just a few days, so I'll give it time. Thank you!

It's been having a lot of connection issues lately. I basically replaced it with the stand-alone Jawbone app. (The "purple" app.) It counts steps from your phone, makes (aggressive) calorie adjustments in here, and works great. It doesn't need a band or wearable, but will connect to their latest wearables as well as…

I have one right now. Very frustrated that I can't do cardio exercise at the moment. I don't know if it's going to get better, stay for a while, or get worse. Last summer I had "status migraine" for most of the summer, and stopped the program. I started up again early this year, and lost over 10 pounds since then (didn't…
-
Add strength training to the cardio I do. And learn how to do it safely and effectively. That's basically it. So far, I am doing okay - knock on wood. Thank you, Robin
-
I didn't see these replies 'till now. (It doesn't tell you when there are replies to a thread to which you have contributed.) Thank you. My migraine turned into Status Migraine, and I was ill all last summer. It was a nightmare. I went off of MFP, got my strength back during the autumn and over the holidays, and went back…

I don't know much about it in recent years, but my mom used Nutri-System in the 1980s and lost 50 lbs. within a relatively short period of time and enjoyed the community aspect that they had then. It was the first time she'd ever lost weight without a "diet doctor." (She didn't really start out overweight but felt like she…

Hi. Just the promised update. No fracture! It's bruised. No idea how, but in a week, I should be over most of the pain. I am glad I took the x-rays because I do have osteoporosis. And I need a fresh bone scan, physical therapy, and strength training to build bone and also flexibility training so this doesn't happen again.…
