  • I took Effexor XR for 5 years. When I initially started the drug I gained 50 lbs in 3 months. I stabilized at that weight until I got pregnant with my daughter. No matter what I did, or how much I controlled my calories or exercised, I couldn't loose any of that weight. When I came off the drug 3 years ago, I almost…
  • I didn't only walk, but walking has been my main source of exercise since February. I have lost 41 lbs since January. From February to May I walked in snow (I live in Northern Canada), burning on average 200 more cals then walking on gravel. I also hike and attend boot camp twice a week. From June to the end of August I…
  • I suffer depression and have for most of my life. What helps me is exercise. I didn't want to admit that in the beginning, but now its a part of my life. That exercise doesn't have to be hard or strenuous, could be as easy as taking an hour long walk. When I don't get a walk in or some form of exercise more then 1 day in a…
  • DS - 65lbs DD - 55lbs (Starting weight was the weight I went into labor with my first :S) I am about 12lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight with my son.
  • I have this problem for about a week before my period. I never weigh during that time, or the time I am on. For me, over the course of 9-10 months of logging and recording everything, i have come to realize I only loose weight 2 weeks out of the month. I loose a good 2-3lbs right after my period, then the cravings strike…
  • Amazing! Keep up the good work!
  • I am in the same spot as you. We are the same height, and I am currently 127. My ultimate goal in this journey has been 125, and I am just about there. I'm not sure I am comfortable yet with where I am, especially naked. I am thinking about going a little lower, possibly 115-120. Saying that, everyone around me keeps…
  • I am having this issue. I was 215lbs and a size 18 bottom and xxl top. I am now 127lbs and size 4 or 6 bottom (depending on the pants) and a small top. Most days, while I know I am a perfectly healthy weight, I still feel 215lbs. I am working on it every day, and its a struggle. These days now, I can look in the mirror and…
  • I've been working on loosing weight for just about 3 years now. Saying that, I did have about 10 months where I kinda gave up. I've been back on track since January of this year and have lost 41 lbs since. Over the coarse of 3 years, I have lost a total of 88lbs.
  • Works wonders for me too! Sometimes I mix in another cereal like Special K Blueberry for a little added flavor, or a banana. Give me tons of fiber, and I am not nearly as hungry throughout the day!
  • I'm 5'2", and currently 130lbs. My goal weight is 125lbs, and to maintain between 120-125lbs.
  • I don't look at macros, never have. I eat healthy, small portions, and within my calorie limits. I have lost 85lbs to date. Trying to meet macros and maintaining my calorie goal, would drive me crazy.
  • I do this all the time for my kids. Sometimes I have to put them through 2 cycles to get them heated through, but if you pop them in the microwave for a few seconds then in the toaster it works better. My kids love when there are pancakes in the freezer! Never had any issues with them in the toaster.
  • I have never set foot in a gym before. There is none in my area. I do all my own exercises, inside and outside. I just bought my own simple weight bench to help with strength training. I have lost 85lbs to date.
  • Thank you very much, this helps a lot.
  • This is amazing! Bump for future reference! I'm going to be starting weight lifting at the end of the month. Waiting to get to my goal weight then start the weight lifting.....this is very encouraging!
  • I have a constant headache for weeks now. I just found out I am iron deficient. Looking at my food over the last few weeks, I have found I am def not getting enough meats, practically none.
  • I am almost to maintenance, but as I shrink out of an item of clothes it goes.....I have sold some items, but I mostly just give them to the women's shelter, or some other group that can make good use of them. No need to keep them for me, I am NEVER going back to those sizes, and knowing I have no other clothes to fall…
  • I have the Polar FT4, and I love it!
  • I've been getting this a lot lately, and its driving me crazy. I am 137lbs at 5'2". I want to loose another 12 lbs, giving me 125lbs. Everywhere I go, I get this stupid comment, you don't need to lose anymore weight, you will look too skinny.....I was 115lbs once upon a time, and no one ever said I was too skinny, but…
  • Love clothes victories! I went from a size 18 down to a size 8 or 9 depending on the pants. I still have a few more lbs to go!
  • Thanks for posting this, what a wake up call! Goes to show most of us think we are much bigger then we actually are.
  • I have this problem too. I've in the past sized my ring up, then down, now I am waiting to get to my final goal before resizing it down again. My fingers are smaller now then when we got married. At one point I was up to an 8, now I need probably need a size 6. It doesn't even fit any of my fingers anymore.
  • Interesting, my wrists are also bothering me since running. I am newbie to running, and just finishing a Learn2Run program and will be running a 5K soon. Wasn't sure what was causing it.
  • Height: 5'2" 29 years old Heaviest: 235 (during pregnancy) Heaviest when i made an effort to loose weight: 215 Lowest ever weight: 115 (before pregnancy) Current Weight: 137 Current Goal: 125 UGW: 120-125 (for maintenance)
  • I'd like to join! Looking forward to it! :D
  • I disagree as well, well maybe not disagree but it def depends on the person. For me, loosing weight has made me look younger, a lot younger. I am 29, when I was bigger (200+lbs), people thought I was approaching my 40s; now I am lucky to get 18! Its ok, the older I get the younger I want to look :D
  • I'm 5'2 and have a goal weight of 120-125lbs. Most people think that will be too small for me, but I don't think so, I am small-medium frame. I have another 13lbs to go!
  • If you have not run before, you really need to start slow. I am doing a Learn 2 Run Program (10 weeks), and we started with a 5 min walk, 1 min run, 3 min walk, repeat x3 and then finish with a 5 min walk. You run 3 times a week, and every week you build on. I just finished week 5 and I am running 3 mins walk 1 min. The…
