My Sister-in-law is completely jealous and acts like it is no big deal that I have lost almost 40 pounds. Acts like anyone can do it pretty easily. We never really got along well in the first place, and I'm not going to let her get me down by her insults.

I am 5'3.75. I started at 205, am down to 166 and looking to to get to 145. Add me if you want!

Chose mine because it in in the "healthy" range for BMI. 39 down, 21 to go.

Excercise, my husband and I have very busy lives (as most people do) and it's always a struggle to make time between working full time, running the kids to where they need to be, cooking, cleaning and actually spending time with my family. I try and do some walking at work, but when you get on a roll, it's so hard to take…

My kids (4 and 2) call my step mom Granny, I know it sounds old fashioned, but it is so cute when they say it. I have also heard a few Mimi's in recent years.

If you miss her, I would tell her that. If you believe you want her back in your life, make sure she knows that. If you believe she isn't going to be the one to make the first move than you need to be. If she isn't receptive to it then you can move on and won't have regrets later. Personally, I would reach out to her in…

Walking is a good place to start. It's free and you can do it just about anywhere.

Give it a few more weeks and you will start to see the results of your hard work, One week is not that long. I know it's frustrating, but just hang in there, you'll get there in the end.

You just do what is good for YOU!!! Don't worry what anyone else thinks, you are the one who has to live with your decisions not them and if you are comfortable with those decisions it's the right decision.

I am in a similar situation, I actually end up splitting up my lunch , take a 15 minute break in the morning and in the afternoon and take a walk and then eat lunch with the remaining 30 minutes. It helps too, to get up form my desk and I always come back with more motivation to get my job done quickly.

I walk for 20 in the morning and 20 minutes in the afternoon during my breaks at work and it seems to be working quite well for me. I've read that as long as you heart rate is accelerated for more than 10 minutes at a time then it "counts" as excercise. I'm not a fan of excercise either, but it is now just a part of my day.

Maybe you could prepare a list of some of the foods you think you may be eating and drinking, include the calorie count and other nutritional information as well as some of the excercises, like walking and swimming. Then you can write down estimates and get a general idea where you stand.

I don't know if this will help or not, but studies have shown that it takes something like 15 attempts before a baby will like a new food, so you could continue to try the fruits and veggies until you learn to like it. I have to force myself to eat some of them too, but I want to set a good example for my children, so I…

What a fantastic experience!! Way to go, you should be so proud of your self for sticking with it!

Instead of using the instant messaging at work, I get up and walk to that persons desk, face to face conversation is usually better anyway. I also have to print a lot of documents throughout the day, I print a few, then get up to get them, instead of printing them all at once. Gets me out of my chair a lot more often.

Just start fresh and don't worry about the past, it's already happened, you can't change it, but you can change the future. Baby steps.

Both my husbands and my families are the same way. I am learning to just take a sampling of all the fantastic food. One or two bites gives you the feeling you are enjoying the whole meal, but still can maintain your lower calorie goals. Also, I have found that by using a smaller plate makes it seem like you are filling up,…

I've lost 7 pounds and I am feeling it in my waist. My pants are starting to sag, which is driving me crazy. Maybe there is a shopping trip in my near future!
