I use polar FT7, can get it for about the same price online as a FT4 If the HRM does not have a chest strp, it would not be accurate.

There are times when I got cold even during a run... when I exercise on empty stomach. But if I ate enough before I worked out, then it seems fine.

Trader Joe's peppermint tea! and I add unsweetened cocoa powder to it. :) A lot cheaper than some of the premium brands! and the mighty-leaf's green tea tropical is really really delicious

When I have to do early workouts, I tend to have something liquid. Usually coffee mixed with milk and 1/2 serveing protein powder. Gets me some carbs and protein to power through workout.

and it really depends on your BMR and where that 233 Cal fits. if you are under your BMR, it's not good...

mine got smaller as I lost weight. But weight training (squats, superman) really helped!

Here are some of my fav in terms of sweet breakfast items - Kashi Go Lean (original, not the crunch) cereal. High protein, high fiber, and low on sugar - Kashi Waffles - Cold quinoa salad with dried fruit and nuts (good alternative for oatmeal) - Protein smoothie with protein powder, fruit or pumpkin and spices savory -…

I lost almost 100 lbs from my heaviest, but since I lost the weight slowly, the skin wasn't too bad the tummy is the biggest issue. Now that I'm closer to my goal weight and i started weight training, I DO see improvement! so dont worry!

cheat days are good for you but you dont' have to eat "Way more than you're allow every weekend" and feel guilty afterwards a better approach is to enjoy the moment of spending time with love ones and enjoy the food in front of you., when you take the time to eat and enjoy, you actually get filled up faster and won't have…

bump! The only natural protein bar I tried was Risebar, though the sugar was pretty high @ 13g of sugar per 17-20g of protein. Taste was not bad...

A few things that helped me get past the binge eating (i'm still working on it, but now I think I binge once in a few months) - to not limit myself on what I can and cannot eat but have things in moderation and stay within the overall caloric and nutrition goal. I was on a really strict low carb diet, and the urge to binge…

A few things I noticed about your diary - carb to protein ratio: you are eating too much carb and not enough protein. I set my carb-protein-fat ratio to 40-30-30 and that really helped me - you are netting 1150 calories each day, you should net your calorie goal or your body goes into starvation mode. i.e. you should eat…

carbs before workout is really important as well, that will be the feul for the work out. I normally eat a luna bar before workout, or sometimes a banana-coco powder-soymilk shake. Just a combination of carbs and protein.

vitamuffin with 2% plain greek yogurt... yummmm :) Kashi go lean cereal - always a staple the new natural valley protein bar is pretty good too

You will lose on 1200 a day to start up, but it will not last. It will be difficult to maintain and too little calories slows down your matabolism, you have to determine a calorie level that's right for your body. there are lots of great threads outthere, I read this one and it changed the way I approach weight loss, and I…

Cut down the sugar completely for a few days, and the craving will go away. I was on a low carb diet few years ago, the extreme one which you cut out all carbs. I didn't use any sugar substitute at that time either, and after two weeks or so, I rarely crave sweets anymore. so that's what they say, if you stop eating it,…

I have a pair of Acis GT2160 based on this site... http://www.runnersworld.com/shoeadvisor then go to DSW to try out their running shoes. I like how they have lots of brands and they are new styles on display and no sales person to deal with so I can try on as many pairs as I want without having to feel like I have to buy…

I like unsweetened soy milk, it's about the same calories as skim milk but much creamier in taste :)
