Hi to all members of this group. I am 72 and have dieted most of my grown up life. live in the UK four grown up children, eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. I am enjoying being on Fitness pal and have lost 29lbs since February. Thanks for having me in this group,hope we can help each other.

What as worked for me is a step at a time, small goals and not to be in a hurry, enjoy your life still go out with friends but limit what you eat and drink, you will do itI am sure you have tone in the right frame of mind good luck on your journey and most of all enjoy

I weigh in every day, just to keep me from lapsing and to see if I am going wrong, if I don!t it does!t worry me.

I have now been doing 5/2 since February and lost 24lbs, seem to have slowed down now I am halfway to my goal weight. Live in the North West of the UK. I look at this as a way of life and will keep going however long this takes. Good luck to everybody else doing any diet.

I use them in a stir fry or with a tomato sauce, not too keen but gets me through without any calories. No taste so need something to pep them up

I have been doing 5/2 since February and lost 24lbs sometimes slow but it suits me and fits in with my life style. I look at it as a life change diet and will carry on even when I have lost the weight that I need to.

I have been doing 5/2 since 4th Feb, and am down 23lbs I find it is very good if you socialize a lot its only 2 days a week so if you don!t manage one day you move to another. Just plan your low calorie days to 500 female /600 male and you do get used to your low calorie days. But be careful you are not too crazy on you…
