  • The first time I lost weight I started buying new clothes when the ones I had were just too big. Then I'd immediately bag them up and give them to my cousins. They would go through and find what fit them that they liked then give what was left to another friend at church. I knew a couple of my cousins didn't have a great…
  • This is me! I've been at the same weight during this time period too and it begins to get frustrating. I've been eating fairly well and doing the exercise so it's hard to see no change on the scale.
  • That's great! It's great when people notice the changes in you, especially when they aren't someone you are close to. People who you are close to tend to be more supportive. So it's great that it came from someone who is more of an acquaintance.
  • Do you eat enough pre/post workingout? I know for me I get crabby when I'm hungry and haven't eaten enough.
  • Excellent job! I can't wait to finish my first month and see what happens!
  • I agree! My pushups are terrible but I try my hardest. Not being able to do pushups is not a good enough reason, the pushups will get better each time. I dread the level 1 and 2 drills for the pushups but still try. I'm also on week 3 day 3.
  • I spent four years teaching high school business. Then I took a year off to finish off my Master's degree in Library and Information Services. My ultimate goal is to get a job as a school librarian somewhere. I'll graduate in August so I've been looking hard for jobs. they're not exactly easy to come by. I've been on here…
  • I just started week 3 of Insanity and I only hope my results are half as good as yours are in pictures! Congrats on the success so far. It's not an easy program but in some ways I enjoy it. Maybe part of it is knowing there was a time I wouldn't have made it through the warmup . . . more or less the entire workout. I can't…
  • My set calories for myfitnesspal is 1550. I usually eat anywhere from 1600-2000 depending on the day and what my meals are like. I don't tend to label foods as no-no's unless it's fast food. There I am pretty particular since so much is fried. If I want ice cream I eat ice cream, I just make sure I've eaten better…
  • I'm 5'7" and currently weigh 201.5 pounds. I'm wearing anything from a size 10-13 depending on the brand. In tops I'm anything from a M-XL again depending on brand. For the most part I wear 12's on bottom and a L on the top. I have hips and a butt along with broad shoulders. My bust is on the small side of average though.…
  • Dripping with sweat but managing. I hate it while I'm doing it but then feel great after. Hopefully Insanity will give me good summer results. I have so many things I want to accomplish.
  • I also started Insanity on Monday. My intention was to start two weeks before that but as everyone knows life doesn't always go as planned. I've tried Insanity before and never finished it so my goal is to actually finish this time! It'll be great to be going through this with others at the same time.

  • I can't believe it's here! I did make my goal so that's thrilling. I wonder if I can make any changes this week and go down even more. I have started doing Insanity this week. It was my intention to start two weeks ago but life had other plans. Good luck to everyone in this final week! Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free…
  • We sound fairly similar, I'm 5'7" and started at 230 and I hope to get down to 155. I also carry my weight well and no one believed me when I said I weighed over 200 pounds. It's a blessing and a curse I guess. So far I've lost 29 pounds. It's not easy, but so worth it. Good Luck!
  • I'm still here. I know I haven't been posting much lately but life doesn't always go as planned. My father went into the hospital a few weeks ago and recently passed away. It was completely unexpected. During this time period you will noticed I posted some pretty large weight losses due to stress. While there are still…
  • Diet is one of those 4 letter words I try to avoid. I've lost 24 pounds so far not on a diet. I just make smarter choices like grilled and not fried along with making sure to eat more fruitss and veggies. I haven't put anything on a can't eat list. It is all about making better choices and getting exercise to become…
  • I'm 28 and have offically logged in for 70 days in a row as of today! I'd love more friends on here.
  • Very impressive! Congrats. That's a huge accomplishment. It's one of the main reasons we should be doing this - to get healthier.
  • Congrats! I loved it when I made it to the regular sizes and not plus sizes. It's such an amazing feeling! Keep up the good work!

  • I've noticed a lack of participation in the group myself and have been wondering. I just looked at the spreadsheet and last week only 6 people posted a weigh in. This is so sad to see. For me personally I can have people try and motivate me but it only works if it comes from within myself. I've been seeing success in…
  • Thanks for all the encouragement. It's great to share this with others who are trying to reach the same goals.
  • Thanks! I've been sitting here trying to figure out what I messed up so it would show up! Even looking at the tutorial I couldn't figure it out . . .
  • Fruit, any type of fruit is my sweet as often as possible.
  • I'm proud because I've lost 19 pounds in 2 months. I'm proud because I had to get out some of my smaller jeans. I'm proud because I've logged in for 60+ days to track my food. I'm proud becuase I'm stronger than i was 2 months ago. and finally I'm proud because I passed the Brazil Butt Lift pencil test . . .…
  • I've been really working on losing weight for about 2 months and in tihs time I've lost 19 pounds. Some weeks I'll have a larger amount drop and others I won't move. I just got off a three week period without a change and dropped 4.5 pounds. It varies constantly. Good luck! Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Nutrition Facts For…
  • I've been wanting to start jogging outdoors but my weather report is not going to allow this to happen with rain and storms forecasted everday...
  • When I first started losing weight about 5 years ago I started at 270 pounds and lost 90 pounds. I'm 5'7" so this was obviously not good. Then I slowly put on a little weight again but stayed pretty good on track until I lost my job. That put me in a terrible mindset and I gaied weight until I got up to 230 pounds. While…
  • Feel free to add me. I've been doing this for about 2 months now and it's been going good so far. I wish you luck on this journey. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Weight Loss Tools
  • After having an amazing weigh in over the weekend I'm super motivated to keep up with what I'm doing. My jeans are fitting better - I even plan to retire two pair because they're so baggy. I have smaller jeans from when I weighed less so I can just wear those and avoid the belt. I dislike wearing belts with a passion. I…
