I also put in things like almonds, cashews, oats, flax seed, chia...the list goes on! Get some nuts, oats or powders in there which really makes them feeling. Also, spinach makes them feeling aswell as bananas.

At the moment I am drinking a fresh fruit and veggy smoothie for breakfast. I mix them up, but this morning I had spring greens, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, coconut water and some almonds blitzed together! Yummy.

You're definately not. I have a cheat day every now and then. Usually on a Sunday when I have my step son round, even more so if the in laws are round. I don't go overboard, but if I go over my calorie goal by 100/200 calories I don't worry about it like I do every other day of the week :) Also, if I fancy ice cream I have…

Try to only weigh yourself once a week. Your weight will fluctuate throughout the week, so if you weigh yourself the same day and time every week you should have a more accurate weight. Also, buy a tape measure to record your inches etc... Just out of interest, what is your height? As 148 for my height for example, I am…

I have the same sort of issue with my mother in law. She works in a deli and likes to buy chocolates, cakes and jams to us when she comes over even though she knows I have changed my lifestyle and would prefer not to eat them. I just always say no thank you when she cracks them open, and continue to eat my dried fruit or…

So do I!! Scalp eczema is not good!! :( Tomatoes are a flammatory food yes, as is pineapple to my utter dismay I love the stuff!! When I have proper, fresh tomato soup my skin goes crazy! I also find when I work out my skin is better so you're probably right!! If only we could constantly work out eh!! ;)

Lanolin...one thing I'm also allergic to!!! And it's in everything!! Have you had any good changes with decreasing your intake of dairy? I'm going to try to do this for a few weeks to see if it helps at all and try to get my calcium from elseware. :)

You're like me I went through them all as a kid! Diprobase, Doublebase, Epaderm...everything! I try not to use the steroids too often once a day at most, it's the places I put it that I'm aware of. Like some areas of my face that get sore etc...I don't like using them on my face! And chest as the skin there is thin anyway!…

Ooo great thread!! Just tagging along for the ride to refer back to later :)

I completely agree with this! If I have a tub of Ben and Jerrys in the freezer I can't honestly, and I seriously mean honestly, stop myself from eating it. Even if I go to bed earlier, I still feel like I have to eat it. So I just don't buy the stuff otherwise I know I'll be feasting on ice cream all night!
-
Ahhh ok, I suppose it's the same with everything...trial and error! I only ever buy small tubs and try it in patches around my body to see if it causes a reaction or not...then I move around to see if it works. :) The best oil I have found, which helped for months but after using it for so long it seemed by skin became…

I definately log it, like someone else said a calorie is a calorie it doesn't matter whether it's a healthy calorie or a bad calorie. If you're counting calories, log your fruit. I know one smoothie I like to drink is around 450 calories for 1 serving so it does need to be logged otherwise my diary isn't truthful.

Amazing!! Well done :D x

Thanks for all your replies it's nice to know (well not nice but you know what I mean!!) to see that I'm not alone and so many people suffer with the same thing I do. Been doing a bit of digging, has anyone tried Emu Oil? It sounds completely weird, but I might give it a go!

For me I like to pre-log so I can see exactly how many calories I have left during the day if I fancy something. :) and it's easier to stick to the healthy options for me if I know I have them already logged in.

Hmmmm chocolate, McDonalds plain cheeseburgers, Ben n Jerrys ice cream and pizza!! And homemade macaroni cheese with bacon and leeks...yum! All in moderation!

I used to skip breakfast all the time but I now have either porridge or oat based cereal but I eat it at about 10am. It does make me more hungry though eating breakfast, I don't know who else has this but when I used to be a skipper I could hold on until about 1pm for lunch but now I'm hungry at noon! :)
