  • Not successful yet, but I turned 40 a few months ago and realizing how much harder it is to drop some weight than it was in my 20's. I've been heavy all my life and over 300 lbs for almost 15 years. No children, I'm not sure if I can, I have a lot of hormonal issues but I don't think I've hit menopause just yet. I wouldn't…
  • Sounds like something I might give a go, however, can anyone tell me if these have a strong yogurt flavor after baking? I don't like yogurt but sometimes baked goods using yogurt don't taste much like it, and some do. I'm hoping the flavor of the cake mix will overpower the yogurt!
  • I would consider trying something like this if I liked maple icing. I would like to try a bacon/egg cheeseburger with glazed donuts as buns though, not sure if I'd finish it but I'm curious enough... http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ljy9h3MQ081qe8s6yo1_1280.jpg
  • me too! and I never realize I had too much of it until I feel sick lol
  • YES those are good too and I agree, not the crap in the bag. One of my friends had a huge family and at every wedding her uncles and brothers would hunt a pig and they'd cook it up for the party, we'd have bowls full of fresh deep fried chicharrones on each table, i just keep eating them, they were really good with beer
  • Ribs.. omg.. yes! I do love the taste of fat but when it's just warm and not charred, I don't like the texture so I put it in my mouth and absorb the flavor for a few minutes then spit it out lol. Love that expression "chew the fat" -it's literal for me! I don't really advertise that but my bf has seen me do it a few times…
  • I read that Crock Pot is actually a brand name of a slow cooker but people just started calling them all crock pots lol
  • It was the first and only dating site I've used, I just randomly clicked on an ad I saw on Facebook one day and thought hmmm I was new to the area and had been single for about 8 months. Was surprised how many messages I got, I wasn't even sure if I was ready to start dating again so I was a bit scared at first. First two…
  • my colleague keeps calling our other colleague "Philips" .. her name is Phyllis !!!!!
  • Good for you making the decision that's right for YOU and your weight reduction accomplishments! I have mixed feelings about surgery, I do believe it's for some people, I don't think it's right for me despite being heavy all my life and having problems with food addictions. I do not believe that surgery is an "easy way…
  • really great work, congratulations!
  • agreed^^ Some TV shows I can watch over and over quite mindlessly and give me a little chuckle: Family Guy (how could I forget that one lol, had to edit that in) Friends I Love Lucy It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Three's Company What's Happening Some movies that I can watch over and over and sometimes make me forget…

  • Just turned 40, never married, no kids. I ended up in two back to back long term relationships (13 years total) with guys that did not want children, I just sort of hoped they'd change their mind as we got older but we split ways eventually for other reasons. I have been with my current boyfriend almost 3 years, he would…
  • That is SO awesome, congratulations! *happy dance* I started around 350 and been juggling the same 10 pounds for months now, I hope it breaks soon, would love to not see a 3-- anymore!

  • Water - I've been doing good with water, not at 100 oz but I've been getting 64 oz every day on weekdays (weekends are harder for some reason). I don't think I can do more than 64 oz on a regular basis but I have had 96 oz occasionally. Logging - Been entering my food everyday for 3 months, good or bad. Today is actually…
  • Welcome to the group Laine!
  • THIS!!!!!! I have tried this a couple times since my teen years (25 years ago) and once in my 20's. It's very hard to stick with and of course anything I lost was returned to me with extra luggage. I personally don't think the food itself is all that bad (I eat just about anything I want now just in much smaller…
  • Bust 60" Waist 59" Hips 60" SW 350 CW 338 GW 175 I know, I'm a giant box!
  • I know where you're coming from but please don't give up! I lost 10 pounds in my first month on MFP, and it's just been a train wreck since. I lost 2 more very very slowly (about 5-6 weeks) then I gained 7 back within a few days (after eating a high calorie birthday dinner) and it's been stuck there for awhile. I don't eat…

  • That's so awesome! I have heard this can happen to people who would never expect to be able to run. I always despised it myself because I have weak ankles but over the weekend I found myself jogging from the car to the house, and it didn't kill me! It wasn't very far maybe 300 feet but my bf of 3 years said wow I've never…
