It helps to boost your metabolism and break that food fast that occurs when you sleep. It's fine to be hungry a few hours after, that just means your body has burned those calories. add me too! If you want to keep your muscle mass, lift weights and consume protein! As long as you eat balanced meals and keep an eye on calories then shedding weight shouldn't be an issue =]
