my mom thought i would never stick to my exercise and diet routine, when i started 2 years ago. she even told me to drop out of the avon walk for breast cancer (a 2 day 39.3 mile walk). she said i will never do the 39.3 miles. that was in 2012 when i weighed 321 lbs. She was right; i didn't do the full 39.3 miles. I did…

when I was on my way to the subway to go to work, this guy, going the opposite direction, walked by and said " good morning Fatso". in true NYC fashion, and without skipping a beat i said "good morning to you *kitten*"

first, when you are walking to the store, going up and down stairs or doing household chores, you are doing exercises. sorry but you had to know. i hate to exercise; i hate going to the gym. never been a fan, and i never will. BUT..... i had to make a change. I am 5'3" and i am morbidly obese. I started going to the gym in…

i have a desk job too. the key is to walk around as much as you can. also, depending on how long is your lunch break is, go out and walk. I have a gym in my office, so during my lunch break, I go to the gym and work out.

I don't care how its made, and you couldn't pay me enough money to eat it. I refuse to eat LIVER. won't go near it in the supermarket. I don't care how rich in iron it is, I will never eat it.

Its easy to eat healthy in NYC. Like you, I am craving sweets (particularly carrot cake cheesecake from Juniors). I don't give in to my cravings. just substitue the sweets with something healthy.

Here's the motivation: DO IT FOR YOU AND YOU ONLY!!!! Don't let anyone put you down. Think how good you will feel when you lose 1 lb (I'm American). I am in the same boat you are in. 11 months ago, i weighed 321 lbs (again American). I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and high blood pressure. On my 40th birthday…

I'm 40 years old and I have been fighting the battle all my life. 11 months ago, I signed up for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, as a start to losing weight. Back then I weighed (and this my heaviest) 321 lbs. Now I weigh 275 lbs. I lost 46 lbs, and still losing. The walk is a 2 day, 39.3 mile walk, and out of the 39.3…
