super late, but i think you could probably keep it to a slice if you really tried

oooh, shiny. i'd like to join if it's alright. also, i spent way too long looking for this gif only to realize when i found it that it's not from the meaning of life, but from life of brian, but i'm posting it anyway.

i had a sushi pizza once, it was amazing.

i just find it ironic that the sources you tout are in the exact same vein as the sources you doubt. (awaiting my extra credit for rhyming)

oh totally. you have an issue with the US department of Agriculture's choose my plate model. so it seems neither of us are totally sold.

the subject of that (article? infographic? font monster?) is added sugar, the section you quoted doesn't specify, and the remainder suggests replacing candy with fruit. also, is that seriously your source?
-
that's the rub. lol

using the 82 grams per day it comes out to 66 pounds of sugar per year. not 152. so i'm confused on where that number came from. edited to clarify - i'm confused about the number in a post preceding this where annual consumption was listed in pounds - not about any number in this post.

do you have a source for the bolded? i just went back in my diary for the past few months and i get about 20 - 40 grams of sugars a day. most days about 25, and rarely above 35, but to be fair, i used the median of 30 grams per day because i'm sure there are high days with cake or coquito around the holidays. i multiplied…

thank you sir, that looks delicious!

i think your rate of loss at 2 lbs per week is too aggressive. we're all eager to be at our goal weights, but have to keep in mind that realistically fat isn't going to melt off at warp speed, especially not if we're keeping health and sanity in mind. at your age and weight i would recommend re-configuring the mfp settings…

fantastic!

another vote for recomp instead of dieting. for inspiration you can check out this thread http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/977538/halp-heavy-lifting-made-me-supah-bulky/p1 at your weight, it's not the number on the scale that's going to really change the way you look as much as what that weight is composed…

i totally want this recipe! just kidding! in my excitement i didn't bother to scroll down and see where it was posted. thanks! <3

i wanted to add to this a little bit to include a strategy that works really well for me when i want to add things quickly and painlessly. the example i'll stick with is salad, but i do this for a lot of recipes that i use a lot. i eat chopped salad really often. and i make it in several variations. so i started by…

i think the first thing you should do is tighten up your logging to see if it's accurate. if you're fairly certain that your measurements are off you really have no way of knowing how much you're consuming. your 1800 could actually be closer to 2600 with just a few discrepancies. try getting a food scale and using it…

do i get bonus points for putting away other people's weights as well?
-
whoa, that's some seriously impressive eating @The_Enginerd like super impressive. i'm impressed.

yes. the most important thing for weight loss is a calorie deficit. plug your stats into MFP, set a reasonable goal and follow the calorie recommendations the site gives you. log consistently and accurately (using a food scale is the best and double check which database entries you're using), eat a balance of nutritionally…

i agree that most of the benefit i have experienced is likely from the caffeine, i've only taken them a few times before fasted lifting on saturday mornings because i don't like to eat when i first wake up. i forget to take them as often as i take them though and the difference is negligible.

nice! they offer these at one of the locations of the college i work for, i'm going to go get it done and see what i find out. edit: typo

i think your question has been answered clearly, concisely and repeatedly. if you have something you are still confused about can you elaborate on what that is?

or body glide which was a life saver to me when i had a chafing issue…

i've been so off track and didn't really log or care over the holidays, but i *am* getting back into the swing of things now, it's not even the eating that's been killing me, it's the wine, craft beer and coquito. last night for the bama game though i was craving my favorite meal from my favorite bar so i made it at home.…

i'm 5'8 and my goal is 165, higher than most of y'all started. maybe i'm just built differently, but i love the way i look at that weight: a good amount of muscle and still curvy.
