tell me more about this dough please and thank you!

even regular salt will do the trick. chug some warm salt water and prepare to be cleansed and flushed. do not make plans.

hi! welcome! when you say struggle, how do you mean? are you feeling too hungry? just craving chocolate? chocolate is something that you can work in a diet in the right context and dosage. i keep hershey's dark chocolate kisses in my desk for 'emergency' chocolate and find that eating 1 satisfies the craving and has only…

i have 1-2 hershey's special dark kisses. they satisfy my craving for 35-70 cals.

eating at a deficit can mess with your hormones. many people find that taking a maintenance break - about 2 weeks at least - can help to replenish leptin and decrease cortisol which helps to level you out. i incorporate diet breaks and find that if they're structured and scheduled it's not difficult to get back to a…

i used to have similar feelings. i really did. i would make up ANY excuse not to go until one day i up and went. and i have to be honest, the first few months were really hard. i was so sure that every casual glance in my direction was accompanied by cruel thoughts and disgust. but day by day it got easier. first i started…

my strategy is that i have my calculator app on my phone right next to mfp - so while i scan the item i scope out the grams per serving, for example a serving of baby spinach (yes i weigh EVERYTHING at home) is 85 grams, then i weigh the spinach and swap to my calculator, so, if i weigh out 112 grams of spinach i close…

that can vary a lot. my fitbit gives me an adjustment of about 630 calories for 11,000 steps and that is consistent with what i have found cross referencing other online resources which take into account, height, weight, age, stride, etc. edited: typo

hrmph. that's not what my scale told me.

yeah, that flour entry is definitely inaccurate. the database is user maintained so there are a lot of entries that are incorrect. when in doubt you can cross reference with the usda food database…

i love hearty soups like these https://www.americastestkitchen.com/recipes/8661-red-lentil-soup-with-north-african-spices https://peaceloveandlowcarb.com/roasted-red-pepper-tomato-and-smoked-gouda-bisque-low-carb-gluten-free/…

make sure you're choosing an accurate entry from the database as well as the correct quantity

in the beginning i was the same way - super excited - shout it from the roof tops. now i'm pretty chill about it. it's not new anymore and it's just the way i live my life and so it doesn't really seem worth mentioning to most people. to my boyfriend though, i bring it up a lot more. mostly stuff like: "i don't have the…

i also think they are fairly contradictory, right? (i haven't watched any of them but i'm broadly familiar with the doctrines)

Valentine’s dinner here as well, probably not super accurate. Samosa was definitely bigger, rice portion was definitely smaller. Doesn’t include the beer or whiskey (logged under my vices category)
-
totally unnecessary to watch any of these in order to lose weight.

wait - he got booted?

we've been over this before. the 'average american' according to that article eats 82 grams a day or 66 pounds per year. (i don't know who the average american is - but i have not come close to that ever and hover between 20-40 with most days closer to 20 - but whatever, we'll just take that as written). the recommended is…

repeating bad math doesn't make it good math

i really like them because they do well on the grill and kind of look like a 'real' burger - not as flat as most veggie patties. i think they taste great too but i would be lying if i claimed they tasted like meat because i honestly don't remember what meat tastes like.
-
as soon as humanly possible i'm eating one of these with cheese, onions, tomato, pickles and mustard, on a *gasp* bun!
-
i'm not really surprised by this, since i already know from a previous that you incorrectly conflate sugar and carbs, but i just want to point out that bread is a complex carb, while something like your bell peppers are simple carbs.

So into these right now. Literally right now. Eating my first one with tuna salad and it’s so good

if you have your mfp account linked to your fitbit and you end up less active than mfp anticipates for your stated activity level then mfp will deduct calories from your daily allowance. mfp front loads all of your calories for the day so if you've got 1500, then that's how you start your day. but it's based on…

hey @bjcrewe thinking of you dude, hope all is well. come check in with us when you can!

i go through this with heartbreak too. breakups or mourning will destroy my appetite for a while and then it will kick back into high gear after a while. i'm sorry for your pain. the best advice i have is to stick to your goals as often as possible. track as accurately as possible. and cut yourself some slack. if you have…

yep. especially if you can't run from it.

all of what @kommodevaran said is true. here are a couple of other resources you can peruse as well: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1080242/a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants/p1 https://www.aworkoutroutine.com/how-to-lose-fat/

the macro settings on mfp are defaults and can be personalized to fit your particular needs. what will matter most to weight gain or loss is your overall calories. how you distribute your macros will be secondary. personally, i aim to hit a protein goal of 25% and get 25 grams of fiber (i swapped fiber tracking for sugar…
