@PennycillinEQ and @nicsflyingcircus I sent you both a request! I am actuality on book 5 of the Wheel of Time now. It's one series I started late. And The Princess Bride is one of my favorite underrated movies. Penny, what MMORPG do you play? I started with Everquest in the early 2000s.

Haha puzzle pirates looks fun. Now I'll have to check it out. I'll send you a friend request!

I would love to join in the accountability adventuring party! My husband and I play D&D every week with a local group. I'm also a huge Harry Potter and LOTR nerd. I currently weigh 337 and am looking to just get below 200 at this point. I have gone from 320 to 250 about 7 years ago, but of course life happened and I gained…

100 + pounds with no surgery is a great and very supportive group!

My husband and I are working on putting together a Harry Potter puzzle on our coffee table. To keep the cats from carrying away pieces at night, we covered the table with a Star Wars throw blanket, and weighted down the corners with DnD 5e books.

I also did not know there was a gamer group...and I'm down for either video or tabletop!

Fellow RenFaire enthusiast amongst other fantasy themed geekdom activities. I am just now starting my keto research, but have many years experience with LCHF. Add me if you'd like!

I'm an INFP-T Mediator, as well! Well, this time anyway. I've taken this test several times before for classes, work, etc..., and I will always come out an IN, but sometimes INTJ Architect, sometimes INTP Logician, and sometimes INFP Mediator. Must depend on what's going on in my life at the time. But...ever the introvert!

We've had Mithril since she was just 6 weeks old. She wasn't really ready to be weaned yet, but the mother had passed away, and she was eating baby cereal with kitten formula mixed in like a champ. She has a lot of quirky habits for a cat, like loving to be held on her back, needing to constantly touch someone, and looking…

@fjpetruccelli and @FallGirl84...beautiful cats! Our two feline fur babies...Mithril (black) and Nimueh (torbie: tortoise tabby).

Feel free to add me, as well. 100+ pounds to lose, as well. We can help each other stay accountable!

INTJ...as always

Welcome!

I loved reading the posts you've written so far--very witty and insightful! I look forward to reading more.

Feel free to add me. I am always looking for supportive friends and willing to lend my own encouragement. I lost 70 pounds about 5 years ago and gained that back, then 2 years ago I had lost 60 pounds and gained that and more back. I am looking to change my lifestyle this time in a way that I can maintain, rather than…

This has been the most accurate calculator I've seen (touted by several boards on MFP). You can choose from several different BMR calculators, the last couple of which will be very accurate if you know your body fat percentage. http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator/

I could use motivators too! Feel free to add me! I have over 100 to lose. I've been around MFP for a couple of years and had lost 60 lbs, but fell WAY off the wagon after a stressful life event, and am back to my starting weight...again.

I would like to join your group if it's not too late. I am a Friday weigher -- also because if I know I'm going to slip up it's more likely to be a weekend :) Last Friday 10/21/11 -- 275.4 This Friday 10/28/11 -- 275 0.4 pounds down Not a lot, but I will take what I can get!

Welcome! Add me if you'd like. I'm always willing to lend a little encouragement and motivation.
-
Welcome and good luck you two! Add me if you'd like. I'm a decent "encourager" as long as you return the favor. :~)
-
Add me if you'd like...I've had my struggles and taken breaks from MFP, but found that I always come back, because it's such a positive influence to my weight loss.
-
Add me if you'd like -- always will to support others in return for the occassional comment back :)
-
Bump thank you!

I have 100 still to lose, but this site has been a blessing so far! Add me if you'd like.

Welcome! Its been the best decision I've made! Add me if you'd like.

also try shirataki noodles -- 40 or less calories depending on the brand and no effective carbs -- made from some japanese root -- big grocery stores here have them, or you can buy them online

Well I'm not sure that keeping your husband out of the loop and "losing weight behind his back" is neccesarily the best idea. You could tell him you are doing it to be healthier and not to "lose weight," and that you won't force him to change his lifestyle. But if you are determined to not let him know, you might go…
