I'm a single mum of 2 girls and work full time. I get up at 6am Mon - Fri to do either a Jillian Micheals or Jackie Warner DVD, then I cycle to work. It is hard at first to get up but you really do get used to it! It's never a problem for me now - I just go to bed a bit earlier!

Yep! Me too! I complete my food diary at the beginning of each day too, so I know where I am!

I'm 5'8" Current weight 142lb Goal weight 140lb (below that if I can manage it but I've been hovering between 140.5 and 143.5 for months now!) Medium framed pear shape (Small bust, big hips but with a small waist - 27"!) Currently UK size 10/12 I cycle and do DVDs by Jackie Warner and Jillian Michaels and have a calorie…

I do Jackie Warner DVDs - Xtreme Timesaver Training is good - half an hour of intense training using hand weights - I feel it's a step up from Jillian although not as much cardio! It really works the shoulders and is amazing! Available on Amazon really cheaply!

I'm 5' 8" an currently weigh 142lb. I am a UK size 10/12 depending on the shop. My goal is just to get below 140, I have been there but couldn't sustain it. Now I do more strength training and am thinking that I need to focus less on the scales and more on body fat %. I think that, depending on build, of course, 126 sounds…

Yes definitely! The Shred was the 1st exercise DVD I ever bought and I now have 6 of Jillian's DVDs! They are hard work but so effective ... and it's only a short time out of your day!
-
This .............exactly!!
-
I agree about Jillian Michaels - then I discovered Jackie Warner - she kicks butt too - whilst toning it! I have 6 Jillian DVDs and 3 Jackie ones and mix them up!

This ^^

This^^

I've heard this one too - I liken it to walking to work and stopping at the corner as you think you've walked far enough! But you're not there yet!!

Height: 5'8" Weight: 143lbs Age: 42 BMR: 1359 I'm currently eating 1200 calories + exercise calories. I've been on maintenance before, but now back to needing to lose a few pounds.

I noticed that I was snappier. I don't think it was self esteem or hunger, I just know I felt irritable. It is possible it was tiredness as I now go to bed much earlier than I ever have before - due to the increase in excercise, I think! Now I'm on maintenance that feeling has gone away!
-
^^This! However, I have heard that if you work out on an empty stomach then you burn more fat! I've always done it as I just wouldn't have time later in the day!
-
I always do The Shred or whatever DVD I'm doing before breakfast. It's the best time of the day  I've never had a problem and I have heard it's the best way of burning fat!

^this!

I find that when I'm sore that if I keep at it then the soreness goes away! I've never missed a day due to sore muscles!

Chocolate - without a doubt! I've given it up for Lent though and while the first week was hard - it's easier now!

Hi I'm from the UK too and am a Jillian convert. I started with the Shred and then moved onto Ripped which is slightly more challenging IMO. I then got 6 week 6 pack and then No More Trouble Zones and Banish Fat Boost Metabalism. I love them all - the hardest is NMTZ I find. I would say start with the Shred and see how you…
-
Definitely this!!
-
I do this too - a week of each! Imo NMTZ is Jillian's hardest DVD.
-
I'm not religious but I'm giving up chocolate, alcohol and unnecessary spending! I do it as a personal challenge!
-
This! No scales would be a disaster - particularly with pasta!

Lisanne is a Dutch girl name. The meaning of the name is `Graciously Consecrated to God` I'm not Dutch - just found it on the internet!
-
I'm doing 30 DS now - 2nd time around - I first did it last June. I've since done Ripped in 30, 6 Week 6 Pack and I mix up Banish Fat , Boost Metabalism and No More Trouble Zones when I've got a bit more time! They all kick butt in varying degrees, particularly the last 2, and I love them!

It's me on holiday after I'd reached my goal. This picture was what made me realize I didn't have a fat tummy! I think I need another taking as I'm back there - convinced my tummy is gross!
-
I find that an unopened pack is safe! Once it's opened I try to get my children to eat it asap because that's when I am more likely to pick! My mum gave me some bars of Lindt choclate and so far they remain unopened! Children don't get Lindt chocolate though - it's too good for children
-
I'm 5'8" and my goal is 140lb (extras lbs from Christmas!). I was at 140lb and on maintenance in my profile pic.
-
I feel like this too! I've just taken a week off as I hadn't had a break since early September - it was so hard! It felt good to get back into it this morning :-D
