I was doing 5:2 for a year until I started Insanity. I felt that I wouldn't get enough food doing it as I only ate 500 calories (as a woman) and didn't eat back any exercise calories. I may go back to 5:2 when I finish Insanity in a couple of weeks

I've never done Jillian's Body Revolution, but I've nearly finished Insanity. I have lots of Jillian DVDs and think they may seem easy after Insanity, however I also have lots of Bob Harper DVDs and think they will still be a challenge! I drink loads - a large cup during the workout and I drink loads of water during the day - I always have done! I have sweat pouring off me. By week 4 I could keep up with them on the dvd and managed Pure Cardio with no rests at all. With the others I would literally take 5 seconds maybe once or twice - especially Level 2…

I use cream cheese, either full fat or low fat, whatever your preference, melted in a pan with a dash of milk! It's my cream substitute and I use it with pasta all the time with other things added.

I'm on week 4 of Insanity and have been doing it barefoot. My calves killed me the first week but I've had no other pain in my feet or anywhere else.

I'm on week 4 of Insanity and haven't worn shoes at all! I have had no issues - I do it on laminate floor!

Yes - it's fine! If it ever lost it's waterproof I would get a tin of waterproofing spray, but never needed to!

I wash my waterproof jacket fairly often as I cycle all the time and it gets mud splattered all over it. I always wash it inside out, on it's own with a little bit of powder and never had a problem.

^^This. I've been doing early morning workouts for 2 years, 6 days a week. You get to the point you're dressed and doing the warm-up before you really wake up and by then you're doing it! I love it and wouldn't/couldn't have it any other way!!
