I love love LOVE paintball. It really is quite a workout if you are hardcore into it and playing to win!

If you're on your feet at work, I would say lightly active. And the lightheadedness is NOT good. There's a good chance you burn more calories than you think when you're on your feet all the time and you need to eat a bit more each day. Either changing your activity level or weekly goals should help with that.

We've done that before. We took frozen chicken and thawed it on Sunday afternoon but didn't end up cooking it until Tuesday night. It was fine.

I feel like if you are waking up early due to hunger pains then you should adjust your weekly weight loss goals to add a few more calories to your day. Sounds like it could be your body's way of telling you it needs more fuel.

I usually wait a couple days until I'm eating back to normal and have been eating normally for a day or two. You would hate to put this weigh in as a "normal" weigh in when you know the cause was partially from being sick. It would make the next weigh in a bit disheartening since you wouldn't be able to have that much of a…

Here's one of the first things that came up on Google. http://www.styleblueprint.com/fashion/pajama-jeans/ Looks like they returned them...

I'm 5'7". I was 135 at high school graduation and 145 at college graduation. My goal is 130-135. That's a reasonable goal based on my weight in the past (high school graduation was just 5 years ago).

What is Eglin gate to gate? (I work on Eglin... at the CDC) Edit: I just looked it up. Sounds like fun! But, I don't think I'll be doing it. Let me know how you do though!!!

Mine is about 30. Well, it's 15 for sure, then another 10-15 would be nice. The first 15 gets me back to what I weighed this time last year (and for the 4 years before that --college weight). Anything beyond that is getting back to what I weighed at some point in high school.

When I got my physical for work, I told them the weight I was about 6 months before that (when I graduated college) because I hadn't stepped on a scale in that long. Well, they didn't weigh me. Then when I got my military dependent ID, they used that weight (I work on base so it was in my file when they looked up my…

The waist measurement seems to be the big problem area for lots of people. My husband blames me for the 3 inch gain since we started dating (no weight gain, just a waist gain!). He also joked about wrapping saran wrap the night before. Supposedly it helps shrink your waist, but it's also a shady way to do it. Work hard and…

My husband was in Okinawa for 2 years (2006-2008). For the most part he liked it there... I say "for the most part" because there's always some level of bull to put up with at work, but he liked Japan. Good luck with your goals. Go for the 5K, you can do it!

This is way late (I haven't checked this thread in a while), but my uncle works at Ft. Sill! I've been to that area of OK and it's a nice area. I did a spring break mission trip to Apache 4 years ago and loved it! Good luck with your goals! I know you can do it!

I'm married to an Air Force man. Luckily he hasn't been deployed, but I know plenty of wives who have gone through deployments recently. I'm civilian, but I work on base. I take care of all the kids at the child development center. We know who has a deployed parent, who had a parent return recently, and a lot of inside…

I remember when I had my wisdom teeth out (a few years ago). Mine were all surgical removal and I could barely eat for a week. I lost 7 lbs that week! I also discovered that if you want to eat something bad enough, you'll find a way. My family had bacon and I wanted some so I slowly chewed little pieces of it with my front…

You could make your own peanut butter and then you control the amount of oil in it. I looked on Google and there are lots of simple peanut butter recipes.

I log them all in one day (the day I started drinking). But I have seen people who break their diaries up by times and they would end up logging them as 8pm-midnight, and midnight-4am splitting them in two days. And I do log drunken conduct as exercise. Last time I went out, a friend dragged me to the dance floor for a…

I'm a bride with a goal to lose about 30lbs by my wedding at the end of December... so far 4lbs down. The best part is I really didn't change anything except keeping track of what I'm eating. :)

Yes! I love them! I should probably start thinking about music... planning in general is going so slow for me. I can't get a guest list out of my fiance, he wants an unreasonably small budget (like $1000 total for catering and photography!), and we're trying to plan things from 900 miles away!

welcome fellow bride!

I would start looking now and ask each store how long it would take to get a specific dress in. I think wedding dresses are made so they can be easily altered 2 sizes in either direction. Again, this is something I would ask in a store. Don't let a store force you to buy the size you are now since you know you will be…

Air Force wife (though our actual wedding is going to be in December this year). My wedding dress is a bit too small because I gained some weight since I went dress shopping. Slowly it is starting to come off. I actually just picked up my dress today and now it's upstairs. It's going to be hard not to go try it on a…

My dad bought a Whirly Pop while I was still living at home. Once you use a little oil in it a few times and coat the inside, you don't even need to add oil (you just wipe it out after using it, not wash it with soap and water). The tiny bit of oil from the inside of the pan is enough to get seasonings to stick, but less…

I have this same problem at work. I work at a day care and the kids get breakfast, lunch, and snack. If we are in the room during these times, we have to "eat" or at least pretend to eat. I often will eat a little bit, but I have no idea what brands/quantities are in anything. I usually just check the database and pick a…

The guest list... oh the guest list. I've had my list done for months already and he refuses to just sit down and write it down. I need his list to make decisions on my list! I have a crazy schedule at work. I'm a "flex" employee which means I have no set schedule but can work up to 40 hours a week between 6am and 6pm.…

I've heard people say that decaf coffee counts (but not regular because the caffeine dehydrates you, defeating the purpose). When I have Crystal Light (or other sugar free 5 calorie drinks) I count those, but it's rare for me to drink them over water (but sometimes you just need a bit of flavor).

I'm glad I only had to work until 11:30 today (but I did have to be there at 6:15. Today and tomorrow are my short days of work this week, but the past 2 days I've had 9 hour days. Oh, and I work at a day care so there's not a ton of adult interaction when kids are the #1 priority. I do hope everyone's afternoons are going…

I've been taking loestrin for 5 months and honestly haven't had a period in that whole time. There was light spotting for a couple days in the first month and then when my period should have been but ever since, absolutely nothing. It's funny because I went to a new doctor for a sinus infection/ear infection combo just a…

Welcome! My fiance is in the Air Force and he complained to me that since I moved across the country to live with him, he's gained 3 inches around his waist (got to love PT tests being the only time he cares about things like that). Good luck on your journey. I'm sure you'll reach your goal quickly!

If you read the labels on Kraft brand cheeses, they say 0g lactose per serving. Kraft sells the lactose byproduct to Abbott labs to be used in baby formula (my dad works for Abbott). I'm not sure if there is a minimal amount of lactose that is low enough that they can print that. I'm only partially lactose intolerant so…
