Yup legs were last night (and I have been neglecting them). I got back to work, had to go down some stairs, and I nearly took a nasty tumble right at the very first step. Good thing handrail was there. But a little advil works great for me

I do what ever sets I am actually going to work on but with a very light amount of weight first. Don't do a lot of reps either. a few is fine. Get some stretch, but don't work yourself while warming up. The more strenuous the "warm up" the crappier the workout will be.

To actually answer your question rather than parroting everyone else's... do both. Will it be bad for you? No of course not. Lose most of the carbs from your diet. They are my weakness, pasta, soda, pizza etc. Carbs are excellent fuel, but if your trying to lose at the same time they aren't Cardio should have a good effect…

Lift. more muscle, and density burns more calories. Also eat less than 1500. continue cardio as well

Whats you goal? weight loss? how much? Long story short. calorie deficit, and increase your muscle mass. more muscle burns more calories. You're not going to get all manly by lifting weights. But more muscle will change your body composition. have fun :smile:

use a heart rate monitor for more accurate numbers. anything else is the average of the averages. HRM's are not perfect, but certainly can provide a great deal more accuracy
