  • Hey Everyone! Thought I'd introduce myself. I'm F30, 5'6", SW 329.4, CW 302, GW for Challenge: 290, UGW 150. I'm looking forward to getting started on the challenge, having someone else counting on me to do my part really helps with the motivation!

  • Oops bad math. I'm at 3 not 4lbs but I can't figure out how to edit it on mobile.

  • I started with this Pre C25k, it eased me into it. coacheaglesgirl.blogspot.com/2011/07/pre-c25k.html
  • I've heard the same as LadyRowyn, half your weight in oz, so mine's like 17-18 cups a day (285/2=142.5 oz or 17.8 cups). I usually try to drink at least 8 during the work day and usually end up somewhere around 11 or 12.
  • Eating Wells Loaded Twice Baked Potatoes is one of my favorites. We've also taken away more of the meat and added more broccoli. It's super easy and quick too, you just use the microwave. eatingwell.com/recipes/loaded_twice_baked_potatoes.html Makes: 4 servings Active Time: 30 minutes Total Time: 40 minutes INGREDIENTS 4…
  • I made a hummus-like spread with roasted garlic, garbanzo beans, olive oil and sauteed sage and it's delicious!
  • So this week was much better than last week, unfortunately the scale didn't reflect that as I bounced all around and was 286.4 this morning. I did a lot better on my goals. I tracked every day except the afternoon of the shower. I was so busy I don't even remember what I was able to grab, but I know I had punch and cupcake…
  • Thanks! I'm feeling a lot better. Back on track, which is good because it's gonna be a busy week. I'm throwing a baby shower on Sunday and because I was sick last week I have a lot of work to do this week.
  • So last week didn't go so well for me. I was sick with a stomach bug and I ended up not really gaining or losing. I was 286.2 this morning and I think I'm still reeling from eating high sodium chicken broth and soup all week. I didn't track and I don't really know if I got water in or not, I was trying to drink lots of…
  • So I didn't post on here last week but my goals were back to tracking every day, which I did, even on the day I was over (but by less than 100 calories) and exercising at least 3 times (which I did 4). This week my goals are the same: -Track every day -Exercise at least 30 min 3 times this week -Drink at least 8 cups of…
  • I cannot echo enough that community helps. Having friend on here you want to check in with and share your successes with and that will pick you up when you are struggling. Also, I love the title of your post, you must be a Tolkein fan :-)
  • Fantastic! My goals for this week are: -Get back to tracking everyday every thing. -At least 8 cups water a day. -Exercise at least 3 times this week. Last week I weighed in at 291 (a 8.6 lb gain from the holidays, ouch!) and this morning I weighed in at 286 so I was down 5 lbs. 6.6 more lbs to hit my lowest since starting…
  • I'm back (still here) and ready to get started again! Unfortunately a little under the weather but back on track.
  • One thing that has really helped me with this is taking pictures on a regular basis. I still can't really see the difference in the mirror but when I put my pics side by side I can see a difference. I usually try to wear the same outfit and stand in the same place. I was doing this almost monthly but I skipped a few months.
  • I was proud of myself last night, hubby and I did some shopping after work including Ikea and we were getting hungry, but said no to eating out and went with what we had planned at home...even though walking past the cinnamon rolls was pretty close to torture...I swear they pump that smell in the place where you pick up…
  • I'm joining in, I've been MIA for a little while due to just normal life business and being sick. My goal is to start exercising, I'm going to start off slowly and say at least once this week and track all my food every day.
  • Looks like they finally fixed it! Hooray!
  • It's on their list if "coming soon" stuff. Hopefully that actually means soon
  • I think it's actually the way they display forums now...it used to be so much easier to check the group message boards to see if there was anything new. I don't really have anything to update though. I think I've hit a plateau as I'm staying right around the same weight, but I also have not been as diligent lately. Time to…
  • bbrat, I'm not on bc...I'm actually hoping I get pregnant but with my weight my periods have been really REALLY irregular. I'm really hoping that is the case because I was up another 4.6 lbs over the weekend. I didn't track my food but I know I wasn't more than a few thousand over both days. No where near what I'd need to…
  • Unfortunately I was up a few pounds today, but I'm pretty hormonal and my usual M.O. is to gain 4-8 lbs right before and drop like stone after, so I'm thinking that's the case. I did go slightly over a few days but not enough to gain 4lbs like I did and I've been feeling super exhausted and nauseated and been crying at…
  • dbeaut Hooray!!!!! I'm doing a happy dance for you! That's fantastic news! Welcome to the 200 club. That's my next proposal for a name
  • Carrieann that's great! Time to go buy some new pants! I was trying on some of my old clothes last night and it was nice to see that some of them are starting to fit again. Glad I saved them so I'm not having to go shopping all the time. One dress in particular has been my goal since I started to fit back into and I was…
  • I did it! I hit 50 lbs! Thanks for all your support ladies it means the world to me and I seriously couldn't have done it without you. On to the next 50!
  • Ok, still haven't seen the 50 lb mark, I was down to 281 (48.4lbs) this morning after a sodium filled weekend. I've been good on my water and better at logging, I was sick a few days so I wasn't logging those days and now hubby is sick so haven't gotten in the work out, been taking care of him. So my goal this week is to…
