so you do pretty much what I do. some things everyone eats and some things only 1 person eats. So mainly I want to hear from the people who make their kids eat when they've cooked. Do they cook things they don't like and then eat them?

being polite and choking down something you don't like are 2 different things. it's no different than going to a party and being offered something you don't like - you just say no thank you. I don't put food on my plate that I don't like and I don't expect anyone else to be forced to do that. I guess at Thanksgiving dinner…

that doesn't answer the question - do you make things that you don't like but your kids do and then force yourself to eat them? For the record, my kids are 18 (off at college), 16 and 13. They make their own meals most of the time. I buy the healthy food, along with some junk, and they cook what they want for themselves…

do you cook foods that you don't like but your kids do? why do kids not get any choices? I don't eat mushrooms but my kids do. I'm certainly not going to force myself to eat them. I like brussel sprouts, they don't. Why should they be forced to eat something they don't like. I fail to see how making a pb&j for a kid that…

you don't get disqualified if you gain weight....if you have immunity for the week and you gain weight, you lose the immunity and can be voted off.

and what about the kids whose parents can't afford to pack their lunch? I guess they're screwed?

gee, maybe if they're lucky, they can blame the Kennedy assassination on working mothers. Are fathers not capable of cooking? I'm a single working mother, have been since my kids were 2, 5, and 7, and none of them are overweight.

I don't buy it from a store, I guy it directly from a farm. They are certified under the USDA grass fed standard. They specifically state they are not finished with grains. I'm not going to argue with you since you have decided you are the grass fed beef expert, but I know what I'm eating and feeding my kids.

not all grass fed beef is finished at a feed lot...what I buy is never fed grain.

hiring a babysitter and paying them is not imposing on people. you're trading money for a service. you need to get your son used to someone else as a caretaker. How do you and your husband go out without using a paid sitter?

My kids pretty much fix their own food. They can eat anything that's in the house, whenever they want - 95% of the food in the house is healthy. There are foods they like that I don't and since I'm not going to force myself to eat those, I'm certainly not going to force them to eat something they don't like.

My daughter is a vegetarian and has been for 4 years now. She was a vegan but found it too hard to maintain while living on campus at college and while on vacation. She is fabulously healthy. Thin, toned, thick long hair, beautiful skin and nails, works out several times a week, and in 1.75 years away at college, has never…

I'm registered to do one in May, but my goal is to just not get beat by the guy in the pink tutu (from their training page). So my only training plan is to continue to go to the gym 5-6 days a week.
