  • I think I've been more motivated to stick with the program because I'm paying for it. I want to get my money's worth. That being said, I do get a discount for WW through insurance and that's really nice.
  • I started WW a month ago and have already lost 8 lbs. I've been on MFP for years and never had that success. If you need support, add me and we can encourage each other.
  • I am 3.5 months pp and am really struggling to lose the weight I gained during pregnancy. I need more support than I want to admit to! I probably need to lose 60 pounds to get back to a comfortable weight (30 to get back to pre-pregnancy weight). Sadly, breastfeeding isn't helping much! Anyone else have that problem?
  • I am pumping/breastfeeding and tracking calories and none of the weight is coming off. Is it really true that some women don't loose any weight until they stop bf no matter what they do? That feels really disappointing.
  • I'm 6 weeks pp and am trying to get back into a workout routine. Does anyone know an appropriate caloric intake that will result in weight loss but not a diminished milk supply? I feel like this is a tricky balance...
  • Are you going to a prenatal yoga class or are you doing it at home?
  • I'm 12 weeks pregnant and looking for others who are pregnant with the goal of having a healthy pregnancy. I'm worried about gaining too much weight, as I think I put on more weight than needed in my first trimester already. What are some workouts that you're managing well right now?
  • Need some encouragement and support, too! Request(s) sent.

  • I'm curious about this too and wonder what everyone else is doing. I just started reducing my carbs, however I don't really feel any differences.
  • I think you can do it!
  • Hi Tasha, my name is Bethany and I have PCOS too. I am looking for some similar advice and feel like we are in a similar boat (ie planning to get pregnant in the near future-eeeek!). I will friend you and hopefully we encourage each other!
  • I am also a bridesmaid who's getting ready for a summer wedding. Feel free to add me and I will help motivate and encourage you along your journey (because that's what bridesmaids are here for!)
  • What a difference! Your skin has a nice glow, too! Way to go!
  • I do. It's embarrassing. Especially during finals week. I used boscia's acne line for a while. It's pricey but it worked for me. Plus it was like having a spa treatment two times a day! http://www.boscia.com/newsite/index.php?gclid=COf0haHkyrcCFdB7QgodRSAAMQ

  • I think she will do well with AT LEAST 1200 calories a day. The nutrients may help boost her mood, especially if she's eating a lot of "clean" food. You should also suggest going on walks to her. It may help her mood as well. Plus, it could be something you do with her so you can both benefit. Best of luck.
  • "I have wanted to quit so many times. There have been times when the scale didn't budge for a month, times when I felt so discouraged that I ate myself sick, and times when I cried from frustration, but I kept going. I still have more work to do, but I am very happy with how much progress I've made so far." Thank you for…
  • Thank you for the reminder. I have to tell myself this every day. The trials will be worth the results. Plus, isn't a slow loss a more sustainable loss?
  • What are "good" (aka healthy) measurements for 5'5" ladies?
  • Love raw milk! It's the best. It's also super easy to get your hands on in Washington State. :drinker:

  • I am kind of close to y'all as well. Female, 5.5, 170. Goal weight 140! Add me, I'm pretty motivating! :P
  • Some of us need to build more muscle mass before we can burn significant fat, so keep working out. [/quote] I'm in a situation very similar to the OP. But my scale hasn't moved for 4 weeks. I'm beginning to get pretty frustrated. How long until a body typically starts burning fat?!
  • Last time I talked to my DR about BC, she said it wuold take around 4 months for my body to adjust to a new pill. It may be the same with you. It's always hard on your body to introduce something new, but it may adjust in time. If it doesn't seem to be working out, there are other pills and other methods you can try!
