I take water whenever I run, even if it's a 20 minute run. No matter how much I hydrate before hand, 5 minutes in I feel parched. Each to their own, though, so take a small bottle with you. It won't weigh you down that much, and can't hurt.

Running 10% more in one week than you did in the previous week is a sure fire way to get injuries. I'd suggest that the first time you go out running, try and run until you start flagging. look on the C25K plan at whereabouts you are along the path. Do we have a spreadsheet to upload stuff to, or are you collating the information? I ran 10k this morning, a plodding 48 mins, burning 948 cals. Weighed in as well this morning, back up to 13'5. Hopefully this challenge will bring the weight down again.

I've had a twitch in my left eye for about three weeks now, so my advice is going to be pretty naff! However, a damp flannel over the eye, with a slight massage is supposed to help.

Well I ran my two races, finished the first in 20:59, the other 21:46. Disgraceful amount of whisky on Friday night again though :o( felt a twinge in the back of my leg, and couldn't really walk yesterday evening, so may have to take a couple of days off.

I usually do the 'parkrun' 5k each Saturday morning at 9am, but this weekend they are also opening one up just up the road to me in Waltham Abbey, with a run at 10am. I know you're doing the C25k at the moment, and having a look there is a parkrun in Abingdon, don't know if that's miles from where you are or not?…

On the map it says we haven't been updated for 6 days!?! Should get a boost then when we do. I'm running 2 5K races on Saturday, one at 9am and the other at 10am. Not entirely sure how that's going to work out! May go for a long run Sunday morning, depends.
