  • Congratulations - keep up your healthy habits. You are doing great!!!
  • Even diet drinks make you CRAVE sugar. The artificial sweeteners are even worse than sugar for stimulating the cravings. Have you considered buying a soda stream or buying carbonated waters. There are several that have no sugar and no salt - some are flavored, some aren't. You will find that once you can change to these…
  • Congratulations!!!!!!
  • Wonderful post - your insights are very inspiring. You have learned so much on your journey - thank you for sharing them.
  • I spoke to a gentleman in line at Costco and he was buying Tumeric and Curcumin altogether in one formula and he said it really helps his arthritic knees.
  • Leaky Gut is definitely a "thing". You also need to find out what foods you are allergic to or sensitive to. Read the Whole 30 and the Plant Paradox. The Whole 30 eliminates foods that generally cause allergic reactions, wheat, dairy, sugar, processed foods for 30 days. You eat real food, real fats, fruit as well. Then you…
  • Have at least 1 glass of water to every Pepsi you have - then make it 2 glasses of water for every Pepsi. You can also get lots of carbonated waters as well - just watch the sugar and salt in them. I have found ones that have no sugar and salt. Unfortunately your Pepsi is probably also poking your sugar demons as well.…
  • Have you ever looked into the Whole 30 program? It has you eating only "real" food for 30 days, no wheat, dairy, added sugar, no processed foods for 30 days. It really helped get my sugar demons under control. You eat real good food including fruit. The elimination of the above items are also to see if you have any…
  • Do you have the Pacer App - it is free and measures your steps, including on the Elyptical. It can sinc with MFP as well. It also gives you your activity level depending on your number of steps accomplished.
  • Personally I would think 1300 is way too few calories if you are supposed to eat 1800. You want to keep up your metabolism and it will slow down- if you eat too few calories. Start making a plan for when you get stressed out. Things like writing in a journal, punching a pillow or punching bag, talking to a…
  • Also make sure you are getting enough Vitamin D - it really helps me with arthritic symptoms of stiffness. I take 6000-7000 per day.

  • Really interesting
  • You may want to read The Plant Paradox by Steven Gundry many of these foods that we think of being super healthy- are not including Quinoa and lentils. They really bother the good bacteria in our gut. I would be worried that you could develop stomach problems with eating that much.
  • Take it from me - eating one meal a day was the only way that I could control my weight when I was young. It completely screwed up my whole system. My digestive system really got messed up. Not to mention the huge slowing of my metabolism. If you want to get FAT and SICK - keep on doing what you are doing. If you want to…
