  • Welcome back, I've got a similar amount to lose so I'll add you and hopefully we can help push each other!
  • Well done! That’s a great start. I think I’m in the same position as you. I want to get healthier and fitter and be able to buy clothes more easily! Good luck
  • Thanks so much for this info, I've just got mine syncing again!
  • I've had the FitBit Zip since 2nd Jan this year and have combined that with logging all my food on MFP and so far I have lost 42lbs or 3 stone. I think it is the best £50 I've spent for a long time and has really inspired me to walk further and do more exercise everyday.... so much so that at the weekend when we had…

  • Feel free to add me.... lost just about 40lbs since New Year and would love to lose the same again by the end of the year. I'm on here everyday but always happy to have more people to chat to and interact with on here :-) I'm losing weight by calorie counting and doing lots more exercise - been inspired by getting a fitbit…
  • Thanks I managed to put on 700g yesterday with exercise and eating some of my exercise calories. I was eating out so I may not have been recording very well. At home I weigh EVERYTHING, at work I try to go to shops and buy salads where there are no dressings and the calories are listed on the packet but I can't weigh it…
  • Feel free to add me... The more active friends to like and comment on things the better in my opinion! I'm 17kg down since 01/01/14 but have quite a bit more to go ;-)
  • I'm in surbiton and work in London... Need as many people to help motivate me as possible! 17kg down so far this year and lots more to go :-)

  • I have the fitbit zip and love it. I can credit it with helping me to drop 5.6kg since early Jan when I got it. I'm unable to end the day if all my goals aren't green (that'll make sense if you've looked at the site) so am pushing myself to keep going with exercise. I sync it with mfp as the fitbit app doesn't have a UK…

  • hi annsky123 - I work in Angel so just down the road from you :-)
  • Hi I live in Surrey and work in London.... I've been trying to do this for a couple of years but for one reason or another this year I've really got motivated. I have bought a fitbit and am now a little obsessed with making sure I hit all my targets every day. (Today is only day 5 but I've managed to walk over 11km today…
  • I'm back here too after falling off the wagon. Will send friend requests as I need as many friends on here as poss to get me motivated! Have just bought a fitbit and am enjoying seeing the steps and calories used go up! Went to the gym today for the first time in about 15 months! 2014 is my year to do this!
  • I've lost 6lb since the beginning of the year too.... add me for support!
  • 1. Where were you born? Chertsey, Surrey 2. Where do you live at the moment? Surbiton, South West London 3. Where else have you lived? Banstead and Sutton (have always stayed around Surrey / London) 4. What is your current occupation? What is your dream occupation? Got made redundant the week before Christmas so my current…
  • I just weigh all the ingredients before cooking and add those into here. I also add any oil etc that I use for cooking too. I do think its worth checking the calories on the items in this database as they don't always match the calories on the packets. Eg, if I use minced beef for anything then I always get the 5% fat (or…
  • So inspiring! I want to be able to show pics like this too! Well done, you ;-)
  • I've just had a homemade chilli for dinner with my husband. Instead of serving it with rice, I made a huge pan full of boiled savoy cabbage and then added a little bit of spice to the cabbage and then put the chilli on top of that. It was really yummy and filling and my hubby loved it too (although I'm lucky as he will eat…
  • Hiya, welcome to MFP! If you want to add me as a friend, feel free! Good luck with your goals ;-)
  • Bonjour! Welcome! I'm in London so fairly close ;-) I did French A Level many years ago so happy to chat in simple French if you want ;-)
  • I seem to be on target to hit my goal of 30lbs off by Christmas / NYE. I joined 26th July (I think) and have lost 12lb since then (based on weigh in this morning that I haven't put on here yet). So 12lb in 5 weeks (with 1 week of holiday in that), and 18lbs to go in 4 months. Wow, put like that I'd hope I could lose more,…
  • So my goal was to lose 30lbs by Christmas.... I started on MFP around 25th July and since then I've lost about 12lb so think I should be on target for my 30lb loss. I've just been on holiday to Chicago for a week - I stayed with my best friend so we were healthier than we would have been had we been eating out for every…
  • Feel free to add me as a friend. I've been on here for just under a month and have lost about 10lb... however I'm off to the US on holiday today so feel that its going to be hard to keep it all together but I'm going to try. No Krispy Kremes for me!!!
  • Feel free to add me as a friend. I've been on here 3.5 weeks so far and lost 10lb. Motivation is strong at the moment with me going to the gym on average 5 days a week!! Never thought it would happen but feeling very accountable to my friends on here! On holiday next week so hope I don't put much back on!
  • I made a really quick stir fry last night. I'm in the UK so not sure what stir fry sauces are available in the US, but I got a thai sweet chilli one which was 68 calories per person. Onions Garlic Green (French) beans Mange tout Red Pepper Carrot Mushrooms (or basically any veg you like all chopped to the right size to…
  • You look amazing (as I said on FB!). Well done, you're a great inspiration xx
  • Aubergine and okra are my big hates. I can't bear the texture of either and have to avoid it at all costs.
  • Wow, you look brilliant!! Congratulations on loosing 50!!! I hope I can get there too at some point.
  • Hi all I've been having a really great month so far. Have lost about 5lb so makes my total almost 10lb since I started at MFP towards the end of July so I'm feeling very happy and motivated. I've also found an acceptance of the gym. I used to hate going and would just walk on the treadmill (I've always had a bit of a dodgy…
  • Cayenne pepper and worcestershire sauce for me
  • Can I join? I'm hoping to lose weight so that my husband and I can start on the TTC journey in early 2011.... I've been on MFP since 26th July and have already lost 8.1lb so hoping that this will continue! I can't wait to finally start TTC (we have a big holiday planned to go to Indonesia in January so are putting it off…
