  • Good Morning Everyone! After a year of blah, I am back! Trying to lose about 20 lbs. This time I consulted with an endocrinologist, and he recommended a number of supplements, including iron, D3 (very low), hydrocortisone (very small amount), estrogen and progesterone. I'm excited to start again because I should have more…
  • I just sent you a friend request and my diary is open. The biggest change I have made is to not have any carbs/sweets for breakfast. Believe it or not, I eat nuts and veggies for breakfast. Don't get the cravings I used to get since I made that change. And exercise is really important! At least 300 calories expended a day.…
  • I used to go to the gym a few times a week, but now I am trying to do it everyday, and the big thing is that I have added weights to my program (they have the Cybex machines). It all seems so much more satisfying and I love the crunch!
  • all I can say is "Wow!" I need to start lifting weights!
  • Hi Bobbie, Welcome! I am also new here and hoping to get jazzed about weight loss. Maybe we can take this trip together! I know about neurofibromatosis. At one point doctors thought my son might have this. He is 15 now, but a few years ago we took him into a neurologist for evaluation (he has ADHD and sensory issues), and…
  • Take heart... you are not alone. It might be inspiring to read Stacy London's story (she's on What Not to Wear) who went through what you're going through and came out with success.
  • Hi there! I always think that walking is the best thing to do first. It gets you out of the house and it's pretty easy. Bring along a friend or music if you think it's going to be boring. Good luck! You'll do great!
