I dont see how anyone can say weight loss is easy. Then why do so many gain their weight back. It annoys me when people say they cant eat enough when logging to lose weight, i think why are you here, you must have ate too much.

I am up 5 lbs, wanted to be down 5. My 92 yr old Mom is stressing me and the winters are rough, dont remember them this hard last year. I love done throw in the towel, keeping on keeping on. I have been trying to lose 5 lbs since last summer,but I have gained 5 lbs. So just want to get the 5 lbs off, hope to get it off February.

yes I hit 155 one time, never to see again. I want to just get back to what I was before Xmas, up 3 lbs but up 6 lbs from my lowest. I will be happy with the 3 lb lost. Hope to be there by the end of January!

I drink, whether water or tea, drink fills me up. I never eat at night any more, it was a bad habit but my husb cannot seem to give it up either, I make him go somewhere else with his food.

Also had a church dinner thing and they had desserts and I had none. Now I know to have a little, yes a little so I dont feel deprived, I think this may be why I overate also.

thanks Annp, I weigh everyday, I made the mistake of not weighing one year and gained 25 lbs. Live and learn. I use to weigh once every 3 or 4 weeks, my scales got off 10 lbs, I gained 10 on top of that and then got mad and gained another 5. I had rather weigh even if bad, at least I know where I stand. i like a mini kind bar or rice cake w/pnut butter and a little jelly. I also eat a little choc every day, a little, maybe 1 candy kiss. I freeze them.

thanks to all of ya, yes the stress was bad. The strange thing is I didnt realize I was so stressed, I was just starving for food. Later I put it together, it was after seeing Mom in the hospital the day before. Now that I am aware I think I can get a hold on it.

the crazy part of this is I didnt know I was stressed, I was just starved. It must have been subconscious, I know weird but then I got to thinking why am I eating all this? After the fact I did go exercise.

wow you look great, I weigh about what you do. I try to stay 159. Low carb worked great for me also, keto was a little too strick. I eat 100 gr or less of carbs and weight came off. Such a good feeling.

i am 66 years old also, I lost 40 lbs thru mfp so you can do it. Everyone is different, someone at the gym told me to eat 100 gr of carbs or less and I do this and it worked along with logging. Find your thing!

I leave my before and after on my phone and it gives me motivation, look at it often.

I did good over Xmas, then got sick, went down hill. 4 pounds, plan on having it off in next 2 weeks. 1) no candy kisses 2) drink more water 3)drink not tea 4) eat soup 5) eat 100 gr of carbs or less a day 6) exercise 5 days a week 7) Say No to myself
