I think the most important one I was taught by my mom was keeping positive and having a hard work effort. It sounds stupid but I've been at my job for less then two months and I've been promoted twice already and I think these skills are major reasons why.

I'm in college and it's considered a busy night for me if I have to do more than an hour of homework a night. When I was in kindergarden, I had reading each night and maybe a worksheet.

My diary is always full of junk, fast food and starbucks. I'm a college kid who works in fast food and if my manger offers to buy me lunch, I'm not arguing even if a sausage egg mcmuffin isn't the healthiest choice. Eating right is hard between school and a full time job sometimes an easy fast meal wins over cooking.
