seee..... i thought about that too (a positive change)... my husband has been trying to get me to do 500 abs with him everyday and i just keep fighting it. Maybe for 40 days I could do it, huh?

i actually bought a size and a half bigger on this last pair because the shoe guy said my feet would swell... Still wore out the toe :)
-
I did... that's where I bought my last pair of shoes. They did fine. Guess I just don't wanna buy the exact same pair again. Something excited about new shoes :)

awwwwww I loooove that :) <sniff>

Teachers rock :) (And double props to you 'cause I can't do the little ones - i teach high school)
-
ooooooohhhwwwww that's a good one :) Treat yourself with the mercy and grace you extend to others....

reading this, i'm realizing everyone's different. I don't think less than 125 would look good on me anymore... I'm almost 40 and haven't weighed that much since I was 25. Also learning that 125 on someone else looks different than 125 on me....Interesting.... :)

It did for me... i dealt with the same thing, except my classes were 45 minutes. Your body will get used to processing that much water and you won't have to go so much :)

Oh yeah... and my watch. It tracks GPS so I know how far I've fun, and calories burned and time.... good stuff...

For me a few things: #1 I bought a treadmill makes it easier to NOT make excuses to run because of weather. #2 I bought REAL running shoes - so then i felt obligated to run #3 I bought a new outfit to run in so i looked official :) SINCE then... I've been training for a marathon (and subsequently downgraded to a half). I…

My son plays basketball, so even though hubby doesn't coach it, we are committed two nights a week. He just finished his playoff game and they lost so basketball is officially over ;)

(ignoring all the sarcasm) Yeah.... we're done. Uh... partially because I realized when my youngest graduates i'll be a grandma :/

I'm 5'2 154. started at 160. Want to be at 135ish.

wow montana_girl that's awesome!

I can totally relate. I am a mom of 6. married to a coach. In grad school. Teaching. Blah. By the time I get home, I am exhausted. I try to wake up early in the morning, but can't get outta bed before 7. I AM EXHAUSTED ALLLLLL THE TIME. What I'm learning is I have to take 30 minutes for me - bathe - workout whatever. But…

Are C4 and Spark both at GNC?

believe it or not, the insanity rocked. I started out at 160 lbs. Out of shape. Soft. By the end of the 60 days I had lost 15 lbs and several inches. NOW, there were a lot of the exercises I couldn't do, or could only kinda do... but i loved the way I felt at the end of each video. I was spent. I was exhausted. But I FELT…

WOW! You look amazing!!!

Something else I've started doing is asking myself, "Why am I eating this?". Sometimes if I can make the connection between the emotion and the food I can counteract it.
-
I have come to realize this year, that I am a "stuffer". I don't like dealing with emotions like anger, jealousy, etc. So, instead of verbalizing what I feel, I eat. I put in my mouth what I won't let come out verbally....

I think that's awesome. My mom is in recovery and they stick with a "one day at a time" mentality. Sometimes for me, I think I have to work in terms of "One meal at a time".
-
lprincess1970 that's my challenge. I am type A and I am a perfectionist and when I don't achieve what I want to... I feel discouraged and give up.
-
that's awesome. I know that even when the weight wasn't coming off, when i was training for the marathon I felt good. I did my miles that I was supposed to do each week and at least I felt good about that.
-
I collect weight in my tummy. I know that you can't spot reduce... but I don't think he is quite there yet. I think he thinks I can shrink my tummy (belly to be honest) by doing a kajillion abs. My thought is that if i don't get rid of the fat over it it won't matter... And FTR, he does the 500 abs daily :(
-
ditto. I have tried coffee a million times, and uh... can't do it.
-
I did, but this week I decided I'm only going to weigh myself on Monday. That will be a realistic view.
-
i am definitely a chocoholic. Pepsi, too, actually...
-
OH YEAH and he downloaded the app and started tracking his food so he could see how I felt. Now... it kind backfired because he has to eat like 3500 calories a day and I am limited to 1200 :/ HOWEVER, he has to watch his sodium intake big time.
-
HOW DO WE DO IT?? :)

My husband is awesome. I got a wild hair and decided I wanted to train for a marathon. He trained with me. Let me explain why that's a big deal. He's a football player. He sprints. He does insanity. He DOES NOT DO long distances....LOL He is built like a greek god. He works out for 15 minutes and looks like I would after a…
