Hi! I did a weight training class in college, that kinda helped to show me how to work everything, but in my "grownup life" I had a lot of success with Body for Life. They show you how to use the machines, and how many reps/sets to do of everything. Feel free to check out this link. Hope it helps.…

I am pretty sure the majority of it is skin... fat doesn't quite droop like that (not on me at least). Btw.... Very brave of you to post. I know my LEAST favorite thing about me is my stomach. Between 4 babies and the weight that's left over... Let's just say "not hot". :)

does SLOW count as a type? :) I will be running my first half marathon this weekend. I am by absolutely no means a sprinter, and uh... will probably never run less than a 9 minute mile. But.... I run :)

Shortie here! 5'2. currently about 150. Wanna get down to 130. Not vegetarian, though... I actually LOVE my meat :) We did give up everything but fish for Lent though. Just bumped up to 1350 calories, but not sure if i'm gonna stick with it... this is my first week with the higher calories and not sure if I'll commit...

how many calories are you working off? I've been reading a lot lately about eating back the workout calories. Apparently your body needs a minimum of 1200 net calories or it tries to hold on to what it has....

I would say it's worth it. I mean... you know if you do nothing there will definitely be no results. But, I've heard good things about lifting with hypothyroid. Building muscle mass burns fat. so... start there I would say.
