Strawberry shortcake were decent but had an artificial aspect to the flavor. Sadly haven’t found the pb pie one yet.

Both are great. CrossFit is more group/social from my experience while powerlifting is more individual though competing at meets is quite social. I do powerlifting, started during the weight loss process so trained when overweight/obese though didn’t compete till was just in overweight category but just how it ended up not…

When I trained for both 5k and 10k I did the runs based on time. Short run was 20 minutes and the long run worked up to over an hour with it going up about 5 minutes each week when it was time to increase. By time of race I managed the 10k in just under an hour.

I have used a couple different programs over the years but never paid for any of them. Plenty of programs depending on desired goal available online for free.

I checked one Vons but will see if other locations or Pavilions is an option (Safeway here in Cali). Not found in Ralph’s thus far.

I haven’t been able to find them either.

I follow a program, so the reps and sets are already prescribed.

Personal preference plays a big role. I like quest bars briefly microwaved to make them a little softer.

For the first meet don’t worry about it. Enjoy the experience. Doesn’t matter if you are squatting the bar or 225 lbs, the crowd will cheer you on. If you like it then you can look into powerlifting focused programs and worry about things like peak cycles for meets.

For me, it is remembering each is just a single data point. Plus you can scroll on happy scale to see where the fluctuations were different a month ago. At first my higher weights were 139-140, then drifted to 135. And now while it seems forever for the scale to budge lower my high numbers are 130 so progress. Slow and…

I had a general end goal but not set in stone. Focused more on smaller goals and some non-scale to keep my sanity. Not having been not overweight since preteen years it was hard to imagine even getting below 150 when having known for so long above 200. Now have been 130s for over a year and working to get at the top of the…

Coffee and Krispy Kreme donut.

Krispy Kreme glazed creamer filled. Might end up low on protein today but that is okay. Still in my calorie goal range having more than one donut and that is even before tonight’s cardio.

Count me in. I would probably try all three but the recent craz of adding spice to everything doesn’t always work out though chili and chocolate is a known good combination. The fiery sour patch kids weren’t really successful for me.

I tend to go for an average as my goal. Helps now I know that I can see weekly average on the app. So some days I may only eat 1200 calories like on a busy work day but other days I eat about 1600. Average goal is 1400 as I am short and closer to healthy weight range.

I am envious. Haven’t found the outrageous bar in stores here yet. The cups were good with the pieces added so can’t wait to try the bar.

Powerlifting meet Vegas vacation in September

The kettle corn one is delicious.

Honestly, I tried the muffin from 7-11 months ago. Think it was the blueberry and it was meh. The Lenny and Larry muffins are better but not as easy to find. Haven’t seen new quest bars thus far.

I put it on top of protein mug cakes. Nice when it is still a bit warm so the sunflower butter melts a little. Might be good in oatmeal and such too.

I saw the Oreos at both target and Walmart. Verdict: yum Remind me a little of the Rice Krispies ones, which were one of my favorites. There are little bits in the cream but even the cookies alone have a flavor reminiscent of kettle corn. Instead of marshmallow flavor it does have a note of caramel to it. Will need to buy…

I put chased the kettle corn Oreos. Hoping to try them tomorrow.

Probably would be good with the cinnamon sugar pita chips that many stores carry, snickerdoodle in particular. Though I find them odd too. Tried the brownie but didn’t interest me. My sister liked it though.

Some more information would be helpful. Current weight and activity level does have a play. For me, same height I was maintaining around 135 at between 1800 and 1900 calories with lifting 3-4 days a week and on feet all shift at work. Am slowly losing (slowly) at averaging 1400 with a little extra walking added since I now…

Well, having joined quit then rejoined. I can say that it isn’t difficult getting out of contract at 24 hour fitness. I like the gym when I live close enough to one. Currently go there now and train powerlifting. Sure the one location doesn’t have 2.5 lb plates but for the most part it has what I need, is close and…

Tropical açaí bowl that had on top kiwi, papaya, mango, honey and almond butter.

I will admit that the oreo thins never grabbed my interest, until I saw these. They are good though could use a little more salt to them to really get the salted caramel flavor.
-
Had a delicious post workout treat. It's rolled ice cream and they make a bit of a show when putting it together. End result is pretty and delicious. I got the Halva, which involves caramel, pecans and toasted marshmallow.

I saw online both one and two pint but in person have only seen the two pint ones. It was a surprise find too. The pb one was okay but feels like it is missing something, either more pb or more fudge. I might melt a little pb, half a serving, and add it since I still have over half the container left, which should be two…

I am 4’11” and still a bit round. I measure two spots on my waist as my stomach still dips noticeably inward at the belly button. So I measur at it for the smaller part Of waist and just above to so can check progress. Used to weigh over 200 with much bigger measurements. Weight 134 Waist at smaller point 35.5 Above 36.5…
