regardless of what you say... I DON'T LIKE TEA and have stated that before in this thread... and I do not drink coffee. So I am good on this! Thanks but no thanks
-
you know I tried true lemon before and liked it... it was in a restaurant though in the small packets... where is it sold?
-
Because pure water is going to make it easier to lose the weight... all the other things you listed have sugar and being that I am pre diabetic, none of that is going to be a good look for me... ESPECIALLY not the soft drinks. For me its not an obsession, but making good decisions.

yes thank you for the link! I will definitely check it out

OMG@ contaminated water. Thats horrible! I bring a huge bottle too, but I still have to make myself drink it. No fun! I guess such is life. I have actually heard that drinking water at a warmer temp can help you lose weight faster. Do not know how true that is, but I just cannot get with the warm water lol
-
yea I started adding lemon here lately... its pretty good. I was looking for some extra ideas to shake it up a bit.
-
I hate tea lol... plus I am concerned about caffeine
-
yes! I never used it and dont plan to start after the things that I have read about it. Aspartame over time can do more harm than good.
-
I can only drink it cold lol... I thought I was the only one
-
at the end of the 20's road... lol.. 28 (29 in may)... feel free to add me! :)

thank you! add to that, my folliculitis/hidranetis supparativa (SP?) has stopped acting up. I have not had an outbreak in over a month. There is definitely something to be said for cleaner eating and weight loss where PCOS is concerned.

LOVE THIS!!!! ^^^ and I too believe in the girdle and tucking it in.... unfortunately since my face and midsection seem to be the ONLY places I gain, the warmer seasons make it so hard
-
seeing my face look extra swollen on some photos... Being in prediabetic range on my A1C bloodwork... I just cant be a diabetic because I made poor choices in my diet! there is no excuse,.

pasta!

LOVE THIS!!!^^^^^^^ Such inspiration! And you know, what I have found is that a good workout provides the same effects on the brain and body as this medication... plus you will look better (in my own experience). I wish I had figured that out before taking this drug.

I am so glad I am not alone! when my daughter was about 6 months old, my ob put me on this drug to battle postpartum depression... All the weight I lost breastfeeding came back in what seemed like DAYS... I put on about 12 pounds and that sucked! I weaned myself off of it and have started back exercising... It was a great…

I have been on and off metformin for the last three years due to PCOS. I took it during pregnancy with my daughter to avoid miscarriage and have been back on it post partum to regulate my hormones. Its a rough pill to swallow (literally) due to the side effects on your GI system... but it keeps you on track with your diet…

I have found that topical treatment is temporary... it has a lot to do with what you are putting in your body... if you eat better, drink lots of water and keep your BMI at a good level its like it goes into remission. Since I began eating better and lost a few pounds, I have not had an outbreak. When I ate a lot of junk,…

its a lab done where they draw blood and check the sugar levels after fasting. I think anything starting at 5.7 or 5.8 to a 6.3 is considered Pre diabetic.. if you hit 6.4 or higher, you are considered diabetic.
-
the A1C is the only thing that can determine you being in prediabetic range. Insulin resistance for some reason goes hand in hand with being diabetic or prediabetic however.. I go to an endocrinologist every 3- 4 months for fasting labs. I meet with her nutritionist and do one on one's because I am in the PRE range and am…

I dont know you, but I am VERY proud of you! Its hard enough as a woman to lose weight.. but with the added barrier of PCOS, the hardship is tripled. You are doing a fabulous job! keep up the good work!

hi! I just bought my friend's wii and wii fit with balance board.. its not the wii fit plus though... do you know the difference? I will definitely add you as I am going to play around with it this week.

thanks for the tip! I have looked around at food ideas on pinterest but not very much as I spend more time on there looking up ideas for my 1 year old girl lol.. is there a particular board I should look for with healthy meal ideas?

although my ultimate goal is 38 pounds loss total, I can hang for 20 :) I am down by 3 as of today...

sodium is a big thing for me too... I have found the fresher the food, those are the days I stay within or under that range. More veggies and fruits. Avoid the canned ones, especially where veggies are concerned because they have more sodium. Processed food has been the hardest thing to let up but I am getting there...

are you trying to conceive? I was only on provera to bring on my cycle so I could start drugs to get pregnant.. otherwise, all you really need is birth control to jump start you each month... I hated that stuff! (provera)... the periods were the worst. if you dont have to use it, dont.
-
I started level one and finished just now... literally just showered... feel like I have been beat with a cadillac! I def need some buddies
-
I am in week two now... feel free to add me. I dont have much to contribute knowledge wise, but I am here if you need me for support :)
-
