ikr?! Sad. People post looking for constructive criticism or advice and get called a liar and get diagnosed with insecurity issues. lol! Go home internet, you're drunk.

My wife can push 200. I believe you 100%. Don't listen to these folks trying to be ugly about it.
-
While I think you fantastic, I think you are smart by being able to handle constructive criticism. When you're building something, you need as many opinions as you can get. It's up to you to choose which ones to listen to. Asking for opinions doesn't mean you have poor self image or self worth.

I still really love coffee but I"m guessing I don't have the "dragging" sensation that I did when I was being a fat slob. If I drink any coffee now it's like once or twice a week. It was 2-3 cups a day when I was out of shape.

"I hate my love handles" is at the top of my list of thoughts in the gym. :-/
-
I thought this might be a joke after that first sentence. Seriously? lol

My thinking goes back and forth with several topics of thought. The music in my ears, my family, work, to do lists, form, count, time, etc.

This I'm one of those "blessed" with that gene that makes lean gains harder than chinese arithmetic.

I would say just lift heavy but only 2, maybe 3 times a week. You can get overzealous and end up being counterproductive in the gym. Protein up and lift heavy with 4-5/ 5-6 rep sets. I wouldn't worry too much about caloric intake. You won't grow by restricting and adding caloric intake won't do much for isolated gains like…

Right on Man! That's awesome! Sending a friend request. I want to watch your progress!

That is the gospel truth. Stress has been the single biggest problem in staying in shape. U2Amie, you will do well using MFP. Good luck to you!

I personally like curvy women. Size 12/14, boobs, hips...... Yes

Great job! And beautiful family.

Another thing I can vouch for is the protection and moisture water provides your joints. Joint pain and injuries used to be a big problem for me in the gym, but I really don't deal with that since being militant about my water.

I used to dread the idea of pounding water all day but I now carry a gallon jug with me and drink it all day. I'll go through 2 gallons if my workout was really heavy or I'm outside much. I put a little Crystal Light or something similar in it from time to time just to change it up. Very diluted though. I don't care for…

Ha! This is funny. Mine is actually higher. It reads 228 but I'm around 220.

An injury will KILL my motivation. I'm "babying" a pulled tendon in my left arm and it is KILLING me that I can lift like I want. Very defeating sensation.

Walgreens protein powder is actually pretty good. 26gm of protein, 150 calories. $20 for 23 servings

You know most of them already but there are only a few big ones. Don't talk to someone with earbuds in. Simple body language and gestures are completely acceptable. Put your weights up after your set. Don't curl in the squat rack. If you're going to squat in the Smith Machine, for God's sake LOAD the bar.
-
Tracy, you'll love Iron and his wife....as long as you DO NOT curl in the squat rack. Cardinal Sin

Seriously though, the New Rules of Lifting is a good read.

THIS.. tatd, get your butt over in the free weight section and we'll KILL IT!

I don't have any personal experience with that device and it made my skin crawl. Whatever he's planning, I don't want to see it!
