I know there are mixed opinions on juicing, but I have found the occasional day of juices and veggies only helps me to feel reset and "cleansed" ;) It's not something I do all the time, but I mix it in once a month or every other month or after a particularly bad eating period. It helps me reset and get back on track.

I bet lots of the places in Vegas have flavored vodka. I absolutely love Three Olives Cherry or Mango and club soda. I'd go for a salad, skip the dressing and get salsa, skip guac and sour cream (or get guac, no cheese) and I think you won't totally derail your day. Also, skip the chips. The salad is tasty!

I put them in soup to make it more filling. They do have a slightly funky smell, but I usually rinse them before and after pre-cooking, which helps. Also, they are good in stir-frys or Asian soups.
