I forgot to mention I have Hashimoto's disease ( thyroid ) so weight loss is a continual struggle - i am currently taking armour which is the only thing that keeps me sane!

When i first joined MFP i just asked it to set my calorie goal - which it gave me 1200 - I ate at this level for the first 3 months and lost 24lb but then i stalled for about a month - then i read the 'road map' i put all my details into the spreadsheet they gave and i now need to eat 1600 cals.. i put on weight initially…

I went shopping recently and headed straight for the size 20 ( uk) as my husband urges me to try some clothes on ( hate shopping for clothes with avengeance ) size 20 hung off me - they kept bringing size after size to the cubicle - fitted into a 14!!!!! and only 27lb down!!!! was gobsmacked!

46 with 47 around the immediate corner lol... not found it too much of a struggle so far ( 23lb lost since 9th Jan ) but a long way to go till i'm the same weight as on my wedding day 140lb ! but i'm more confident that this is my time I will reach that magical number, and each day will bring me closer to it. Well done.. it's pretty hard to put yourself out there ( I know at this point I wouldn't want to expose the world to my pictures ( even with clothes on ! lol )) You are doing fabulously well - keep going the goal to reach is happiness in yourself for the rest of your life, whatever the number on the scale may say. x
