I must admit even though its been a tough couple of months yo-yoing around 200lb, i have never given up on the belief i could do it.. my problem was just how! this time feels so different as though I am in charge of my destiny.. and this will happen :)

38lb - with some small bumps but noting that usually didn't start again after a week or 2 - been at this weight since before xmas and now starting to really annoy me!! started swimming twice a week to see if that will jump start it - here's hoping :smile:

38lb so far since last august - another 60 to go..plateaued but still continuing - doing weights and walking - now introduced swimming to see if that will shove me in the right direction :)

I was hoping for around 140, but that still leaves me 60 to go with 38 lost already - still it's our individual goal and who's to say that that will be our final goal.. once we are there - well who can say :) we have just got to go one day at a time and do the best we can today because tomorrow just might be the day we hit…

Hi I too have hashimotos, wasn't diagnosed for nearly 5 yrs in which time my hair fell out, i put on nearly 7 stone, my ankles swelled so much i couldn't walk, my skin itched so much i scratched it till it bled - my saviour has been armour thyroid - i couldn't stomach the synthetic versions - I got my sanity back…

Hi well done, I hit the dizzy heights of 238lb ( only 5ft2in ) - lost 38 so far - it took them nearly 5 yrs to realise I had Hashimotos disease, I had put on 7 stone!!! hair fell out, ankles swelled up till i couldn't walk, itching which i scratched till i bled, brain fog - where i couldn't even remember if i had eaten!!!…

I have lost 27lb in just over 2 months..( need to lose around 100lb total height 5ft2 ) I have not got a gym membership and walk and use free weights. Thank you..oremus1 I have now lost 27lb so must be doing something right :) I just walk every day between 30mins to lhr and use dumbells to work my arms and top end morning and night - nothing mega - but noticed it is having some impact on my arm definition :)
