As far as going to the movies goes, my boyfriend and I tend to go to dinner right beforehand so we're not tempted by the popcorn and pop and movie candy. Going in with a satisfied tummy really helps- can't remember the last time we got popcorn. :)

On the Netflix note- there are some streaming workouts on there that are called "Ten Minute Solutions." I've tried the yoga one but I know there are others. The workout is broken into 5 different 10 minute segments so if you only have time for ten minutes now, then minutes later, you can break it up or you can do all 50…

Tehnically it isn't necessary. However, for me personally, I find myself to be a complete grump if I don't eat breakfast. It doesn't have to be anything huge, maybe a banana and a handful of almonds. I know if I don't eat breakfast, I'm ravenous the rest of the day but that might not be the same case for you. I would say…

Three words: Exploding Chicken Taquitos! I make them for parties and they're a hit. Got them from her site but I'm sure they're in one of her cookbooks.

I agree. Their under 550 menu does have some good options, again with the exception of sodium. My boyfriend's parents prefer chains so its nice to see some better options on the menu like these.

Feel free to add me. Was diagnosed about 3 years ago and taking Synthroid generic daily. I never really connected my hard time losing weight with my thyroid, though I hadn't been trying to again till recently

I've used it as a sub for ricotta cheese in lightened up Stuffed Shells that I made for company and it was really great. No one noticed the difference :)

Just to add onto the tuna idea- rather than having to drain a can of tuna, you can buy tuna packets and bring crackers/ cut veggies to go with them. They make some great flavors, the lemon pepper one being a personal favorite

My boyfriend and I on a cruise last summer for his sister's wedding. I've gained about 7 lbs and stopped my regular exercise since then, so its my reminder to get back on track

I've done diets in the past that allow for "happy calories" that you can save up for a Girl's Night out or celebration dinner. It was a pretty effective diet so as along as you're exercising, I don't see why banking calories for a fun night out wouldn't work.
