Mustard is also good in chicken salad!

Mustard, every time. Gives it a good kick.

FabFan, your first & last words don't go together very well. LOL

I put mustard in mine instead of gobs of mayo. Much better. Plus it spruces up the taste. Also, I put mustard in tuna salad instead of mayo. As was mentioned above, lose the bread or tortilla or whatever you're using, and make a wrap with a lettuce leaf. I prefer iceberg lettuce.

Mine is open. I'm on maintenance & have been since 2011, so like busyPK, I eat pretty much what I want. Yes, I still try to meet my calorie budget, but it's not the end of the world if I exceed it. This is a busy time of year for me, so I use the quick add feature when I'm pressed for time. Total for the day should be…

I took four semesters of Olymp lifting in college to satisfy my PE requirements, and we just scratched the surface. Continuous supervision/observation is invaluable. It's definitely NOT an endeavor to be self-taught or even by an 'average' trainer. Oh, sure, you might follow the pics in a book or video, but without an…

Which has more calories? Six ounces of skinless baked chicken breast Or Six ounces of regular chicken breast fried in lard? Same thing.

Are you a nudist? If not, you'll have clothes on all day long, essentially carrying them around with you, so your 'normal' weight will be clothed. With the extra pound or two of clothing, you'll burn an extra calorie or two while walking around. Do you strip to the skin when you weigh at the doctor's office? Probably not,…

I used to buy nothing but 2%, but it spoiled before I could use it all, so I started getting smaller containers. Fine, but much more expensive. Then, I noticed there was a considerable difference in the "use by" or "best before" date, with the whole milk lasting longer by as much as a week. There is really not a tremendous…

I don't cheat. It's counterproductive.

Second degree vegetarian. Cows eat grass; I eat cows. I have no problems with those who choose to avoid meats as long as they don't preach to me.

OP, your title is NOT thought-provoking, it's simply incorrect. You're certainly entitled to your opinion, just as I am. As a football official, I stayed in good physical condition during the off season with weight training using low weights with multiple sets of high reps. During the season, chasing kids up & down a…

I lost 35 lbs under the old (totally free, pre-UA) system. Have been on maintenance since then (UA took over sometime around then, but I stayed with the free program). I have no need for the premium. All I need is a place to log food and count calories. I can ignore the ads. If the free program goes away, so will I. An…

^^^^^ This. When I was a kid, my dad rode with me on my first ride. He was a little over 250 and 5'11" at the time & had no problems with the bars, belts, and other securing equipment.

Sorry, no. A handshake will suffice.

I've been on maintenance for almost 6 years. I still log every day, but estimating is good enough now, so my diary is pretty loose, but obviously 'ballpark' close. After a while, a guess becomes pretty accurate, and I don't go into cardiac arrest if I'm over my calorie budget. I still step on the scale every time I walk…

Still think you need a cleanse? Schedule a colonoscopy. You'll get cleansed. Big time.
-
The only things I do NOT log are spices, medications, water, and anything with zero nutritional value. Everything else gets entered.

Plane geometry class in hi school, 1964. She sat in the adjacent row to my immediate right. Didn't date until the following summer, even then, just a few times. Engaged in 1966; married in 1968. Will celebrate 49 years together this June.

What-a-Burger hamburger & McDonald's fries with Mr. Gatti's chocolate chip cookies for dessert.

Schedule a colonoscopy instead. You get cleaned out quite efficiently and you get some piece of mind about colon cancer.

Lived here all my life. Houston is humid & has lots of traffic. Great entertainment center. Dallas is less humid, but still higher than I like. Horrible traffic. Entertainment opportunities abound. San Antonio has narrow downtown streets, but the Riverwalk is fantastic for food, drink, dancing. Austin is a mecca for…
