I really started losing hair big time around the time I had lost 35-50lbs. It grew back. You should definitely be taking vitamins. That being said, seeing the doc isn't a bad idea. My anecdotal experience is not that meaningful.

i think you should try the increasing of calories for a couple of weeks, see if it helps. Also, another thing to try is scan your food diary for things you eat very often.
